![]() "FAKE" FAKE DATING MEME Whether you're trying to make someone else jealous, trying to save a stranger from a creep on the subway, doing a spy mission, running a con, trying to get your parents off your back about being single at a holiday dinner, or any number of other reasons, fake relationships are a hugely popular trope. From there, the hook that sinks downward is that the best laid plans go awry; what started off as pretend turns all too real. Of course, that'd never happen to you, right? |
OTL I LOST MY TAG AND HAD TO WRITE THIS ALL OVER AGAIN T_T
[No it isn't, and she's blushing furiously about the fact that she might have thought Umi meant their voices in a less than wholesome context.]
Ehehehe... Aaaanyways! Let me show you to my room! It might be slightly messier than what you're used to, but it's not too bad!
[She tugs Umi upstairs and to her bedroom that's got the door slightly ajar. When the door opens up Umi might understand what Chie meant by a slight mess. It's got two book shelves, a night stand, a desk, a bed, and a cabinet that a TV is resting on, so the amount of floor space is a bit limited. The bookshelves are absolutely littered with manga, action figures, the occasional cute stuffed animal, and once in a while a textbook tucked away in the corner. The bed is clearly well used and not made on a regular basis, with a black trash bag at the foot of the bed in the corner away from the door, and a half-eaten dog treat on the floor next to her bed. Behind the bed is her window with the shades closed for privacy.
The desk is next to the cabinet with the tv on it, which was across from her bed. All sorts of papers litter the desk, half finished expired homework, registration forms, a few doodles, a book or two, and a light besides just the overhead one fixed into the ceiling. There's all sorts of posters lining her walls like Feather Man X, Trial of the Dragon, and even an autographed poster of Rise Kujikawa the popstar teen idol. The cabinet the tv is resting on is filled to the brim with electronics, from a VCR/DVD player to a playstation. All sorts of DVDs are placed haphazardly between gaming consoles, except for a special section separate specifically for her Trial of the Dragon DVDs and VHS tapes.
With a heavy sigh of relief to be in her comfort zone, Chie threw herself onto her bed with a heavy flop. She rolled over, and began to pull off her socks, throwing them in the trash bag that was clearly full of dirty laundry. The trash can was tucked under her desk, but that probably wasn't that obvious unless you were seated in the wobbly desk chair, or on Chie's bed. Chie patted the bed next to her, urging Umi to have a seat with her.]
Sooo what do you think? This is my room.
[And Chie is just going to take a moment to stretch her legs on the air, flexing her toes before letting her legs drop back down.]
It's not much, and I don't have my own computer or anything, but I think it suits my purposes well enough.
f
[ Umi knows. She's been there. This is just still so... wonderfully adorable of Chie.
She follows Chie into her room - really, she's not the most terribly neat child herself, so it's not that surprising. There's just not as much floor, is it certainly seems more cluttered even if it's a normal amount of stuff.
Cute stuffed animals, television, school stuff, a varied mix of posters. Not completely one-dimensional... but it's obvious what the focus is here. Umi takes a seat on Chie's bed, a bit delicate. There's always a different mood when you enter someone else's room for the first time, even when it's totally platonic.
Her eyes follow the motion of Chie's legs. ]
It's cozy. I can definitely see a lot of who you are here...
Thank you
You like my legs huh? Do you think they're pretty? Do they excite you?
[She lifted her legs to rest them on Umi's lap, idly flexing her feet. Maybe it's because Umi was a girl, and Chie had no experience with any other girls being sexually attracted to her and sticking around. Maybe it was because she always felt a bit more amorous in her bedroom because this was where she tended to fantasize before bed. Maybe the idea of someone she thought as being way more gorgeous than herself being attracted to her appealed to her. Maybe she was just being a cruel bitch. Whatever the reason, she thought it was hilarious to tease Umi a bit with her body since the girl was clearly interested.]
If I said you had ten seconds to do what you liked with them starting now, what would you do, hmm? Ten, nine...
[All the teasing, but don't worry Umi it's all in good fun!]
no subject
They're very... lovely.
[ But she's not going to just take the teasing without giving back, so when Chie sets an ultimatum - and starts counting down! - she has to act. It might be way too presumptuous to take this much further, but can Chie really complain now?
So Umi bends over, down towards Chie's thigh, and gives it a long, slow lick, with the full flat of her tongue. ]
no subject
Hooo... boy was she mistaken!]
Eight, sev-EEP!
[Tongue on legs, tongue on legs! Okay... this is fine, she was the one who offered this! But uh... why the hell did this have to turn her on in just one swift action? Didn't it usually take a little more than just this to turn someone on? Well that probably would be the case if they weren't a sexually repressed virgin who is questioning her own sexuality.]
S-Six... five...
[Oh hey Umi still has another five seconds if she wants to try giving her another lick... and Chie might be lifting her legs up a little higher than Umi's lap so that they're closer to her friend's mouth. What was Umi going to do with her trembling legs, with her thighs hugged together, and on the other end her toes curled up in anticipation. It almost seemed like she was slowing down her countdown, just to see what Umi would do.]
no subject
Umi finishes the lick, taking in that reaction. Chie's just making it easier, counting slower; Umi's hands reach under her leg, holding onto her and lifting it even further as she moves down to lick the side of her thigh instead.
All she has to do is not go much further before they actually watch those movies. She wouldn't want to ruin Chie's routine, right? ]
no subject
Four... three...
[THIGHS! SHE'S LICKING HER THIGHS! THAT IS VERY CLOSE TO INTIMATE TERRITORY AND SURPRISINGLY SENSITIVE! Chie's eyes are sort of squinting shut at this point despite her best efforts, and she's sort of leaning back, her legs almost pushing up against Umi's tongue and her back arching.]
T-Two... one...
[Chie takes a deep breath, finally letting her legs drop back down, her face on fire, and a part of her tempted to try to go even a little bit further now that they've gone this far, and since they've discussed things way worse? No... no this was fine, it was just a little... sample? A sample... yeah... just a sample of the kind of things she could expect from the two of them getting a bit more... intimate.]
Zero... That... that was quite something. I must admit... I didn't know you had that in you.
[Annnd she didn't know her thighs were so sensitive.]
no subject
Chie's enjoying it so much. That's the best part. How straight does Chie really think she is?
Umi keeps the attention up all the way to zero, and then pulls off, licking her lips. ]
I've eaten pussy you know.
[ Still, just this has left her blushing... ]
no subject
Th-That's not the sort of thing you just up an SAY to someone!
[Well it might be after you just finished licking their legs, she's never had that happen before, so she's not exactly sure.]
Well you're not doing that here and now, just so you know!
[No matter how inviting an easy you make it for her! ... Well probably no matter how inviting and easy you make it for her. She's got standards! And principles!]
Sooo... are you prepared... FOR THE TRIAL OF THE DRAGON!?
[She's lifted one of her legs in a kung-fu fighting stance, wagging her foot at Umi 'menacingly' or something.]
no subject
Wasn't planning on it.
[ But if things progress faster than she expects? Oh yes. Ooooh yes. ]
I'm prepared! I am ready for any trials!
[ Of dragons or otherwise! Just don't make her want to - uh, tickle you or something. ]
no subject
Fortunately, Chie's thoughts have already moved well past that, even if her body is still awkwardly trying to cool off from the rather excited state it had been in a few moments before.]
Okay! Here we go then!
[There's a twinkle in her eyes as she clicks her remote and the movie starts with the classic Kabuki yooooo, while a dragon breathing flames on the title "Trial of the Dragon" for the intro. The movie itself? Is relatively nonsensical and slightly hard to follow. There's way more action and focus on secret techniques than actual story telling, but it seems as if the plot is basically about a grand fighting tournament where the winner can undergo the trial of the dragon.]
Shh, shh, this is the best part!
[Chie seems to be completely enraptured by the corny dialogue and over the top fighting moves, likely because it's been a favorite of hers ever since she was a kid. The scene in question is where the protagonist is approached by his master who is a wizened old man after he loses one of his fights. The way the tournament works, he's not down and out just yet, and his master tells him to remember his training. Such training often involves things like meditating under a waterfall, balancing on a beam with boulders on his back, and other oddities. With a renewed fighting spirit he wins the fight, makes it to the final round against the big bad boss looking dude. They are apparently old rivals who were trained by the same master, but he left their master to pursue his own goals.
Before they can begin the sky darkens, the stadium shakes, and a giant dragon comes down from the sky. The protagonist (who's name we never learn) and his rival decide that they must put aside their differences to stop the rampaging dragon. It's a completely over the top fight, ending with a tag team attack from the protagonist and his rival, and the dragon is defeated, sealed inside a magical scroll thanks to the help of their master. Their master then announces they have both completed the Trial of the Dragon! Which is a big shocking reveal and they realize they make a good team after all... which is basically how the movie ends.]
Sooooo... what did you think?
no subject
Umi's having too much fun with this.
The movie is... pretty dumb. Chie knows that it's dumb, though, and Umi went in expecting dumb fun; and the fight choreography is much better than the attempt at writing a plot, or the shallow characters. ]
Oh?
[ The 'best part' is relatively hype. Like, typical tropes that are common because they work. There's nothing revolutionary here, even by the standards of when it was made, but it's not... actually... all that bad? ]
Huh. ...I like the rivals winning with the power of teamwork at the end actually.
Yeah... never let me write cornball Kung-Fu movie plots
[Chie outright hugs Umi when it seems like she understands what makes this movie so great. Then she lets her go to talk really fast about the rest of it.]
I said the best part was with his master training him, but then I remembered that it's in the sequel where they show how he and his rival became enemies. The first one is a lot more about the action than the story, where the others actually flesh out the world a bit more. You can't really watch them without having seen the first one though. The scene where he and his master are training is so much more meaningful when you know the hardships they've been through.
[What are those hardships? Well she'd have to watch the rest of the saga to find out!]
Ahhh... good times.
lol or write all of them
[ Umi just lets herself get hugged, eyes widening. ]
The fights are really pretty good. Especially when I can tell they didn't have a lot to work with except for skill and creativity. But a nice ending like that feels good.
I guess the first one would be important though...
[ Although... how many more of these are there? ]
no subject
So there's three more Trial of the dragon movies. There's the prequel which explains a lot of the stuff that you saw in the first movie, but it was a direct to DVD release. It's funny because that one is said to be the best one by most people, but that's probably because they could get away with a lot of stuff they couldn't in theaters. There's the Sequel that came out in 2011, and then there's the final chapter which came out just recently!
[Chie takes a deep breath, and slowly exhales.]
But I totally understand if you want to take a break.
no subject
You really are passionate...
[ It leaves Umi smiling. Even silly passions are beautiful when they're so pure. ]
If you wanna keep going I'm up for it! Although I might need something to drink.
no subject
[Chie leaps up in her signature fighting stance, that can probably now be recognized as the fighting stance of the protagonist of the Trial of the Dragon.]
Oh! What would you like? We've got water, Dr. Salt NEO, Second Maid, The Natural, Tap Soda, and Orange Smash.
no subject
I don't think I've ever had Tap? So lemme try that.
no subject
Okay! I'll be right back then!
[She might hear Chie opening and closing the door downstairs, and then returning a few minutes later, and then making it up the stairs another minute or two after that. She tosses Umi her can of Tap Soda, hopping onto the bed next to her with a grin. She's idly kicking her feet back and forth, but they're a bit dirty now since she just ran outside barefoot to grab those sodas... oops? Oh well at least her legs which they'd been teasing one another with were still clean? If she'd thought about going for her feet before though, Chie definitely would need to clean them now.]
Hooo, sorry about that! I wanted to make sure I stocked up a little bit on the sodas at the vending machine since they often get bought up pretty quick. Aaaand here's your Tap Soda! Me? I rather like orange crush myself.
[The soda in question is a bit like an energy drink, but carbonated, sugary, and just the tiniest bit fruity.]
no subject
Look at those dirty feet though THAT'S the real problem here! Respect your floors you fool! But she'll take the soda happily, sure. ]
Hmm. I can't turn down the call of the caffeine even when I don't know it will appear...
no subject
Bit of a caffeine addict eh? I know the feeling.
[Since she could say she was a meat addict?]
Let's see... we could start the next Trial of the Dragon, or maybe we could play some street smashers? I always get the urge for some kind of action after watching Trial of the Dragon.
[Ah yes, street smashers. The best mix of Street Fighter and Smash Brothers... that is also a demolition crew game. Don't ask.]
no subject
I do try to limit my intake. Or... more accurately my parents do.
[ Stunts your growth! Judging by her legs should she be like six feet tall in a few years if she weren't already nearly done growing. ]
I'll leave that up to you.
no subject
[It seems Chie was blushing about something, but it's hard to say... what exactly.]
... Then let's try... this...
[She leaned to the side, and planted a small kiss on Umi's cheek. It was a small thing, definitely not on the scale of leg licking! But... it was something that Chie had actually chosen to initiate.]
I'm not sure if I'm ready for much more than that right now, but you deserve that much for being willing to watch more trial of the dragon with me.
