Ari ate her cookie happily, grabbing her coffee to take a sip in between.

"You three want something more to eat?" Mary asked. Arthur and Eames shook their heads.

"No thanks," she said as she finished her cookie. "Except maybe another cookie."

Arthur handed the plate back to her.

"Thanks," she said before taking a decorated sugar cookie and offering the plate to Eames.

Eames took a cookie from the plate and then handed it back to Arthur.

She settled in against Eames as she ate.

Arthur grabbed the remote and turned on the tv. It was the Charlie Brown Christmas special.

"Aww," she said. "Did I ever tell you guys I was Snoopy in a stage version of this when I was little?"

"No," Eames said with a grin.

"Yeah, I was tiny and shy, so they gave me the non-speaking role," she said.

Arthur laughed.

"I'll have to try to find the pictures when I go home," she said.

"I'd love a copy," Mary said.

"Yeah? Okay, I'll see what I can find," she said.

Mary smiled befre getting out of her chair. "Well, I need to get ready for a holiday party tonight. You three will be fine on your own?"

"Yeah, don't worry about us," Arthur said.

"Okay," Mary said before going upstairs to her bedroom.

"I'm glad your mom's still managing to have the holiday spirit," she said to Arthur after Mary left.

He nodded. "Christmas was always her favorite time of year."

"Mine too," she said.

Eames kissed the side of her head. "What do you do at your parents' for Christmas?"

"We usually get together with my dad's family on Christmas Eve," she said. "We have a big pot luck and do Secret Santa. Then my mom's family comes over for Christmas day for present and a sit-down dinner. Well, that's after we open presents in our jammies while eating my mom's famous cranberry nut bread."

She was smiling as she talked about it.
