"No," Eames said with a grin.

"Yeah, I was tiny and shy, so they gave me the non-speaking role," she said.

Arthur laughed.

"I'll have to try to find the pictures when I go home," she said.

"I'd love a copy," Mary said.

"Yeah? Okay, I'll see what I can find," she said.

Mary smiled befre getting out of her chair. "Well, I need to get ready for a holiday party tonight. You three will be fine on your own?"

"Yeah, don't worry about us," Arthur said.

"Okay," Mary said before going upstairs to her bedroom.

"I'm glad your mom's still managing to have the holiday spirit," she said to Arthur after Mary left.

He nodded. "Christmas was always her favorite time of year."

"Mine too," she said.

Eames kissed the side of her head. "What do you do at your parents' for Christmas?"

"We usually get together with my dad's family on Christmas Eve," she said. "We have a big pot luck and do Secret Santa. Then my mom's family comes over for Christmas day for present and a sit-down dinner. Well, that's after we open presents in our jammies while eating my mom's famous cranberry nut bread."

She was smiling as she talked about it.

"Sounds nice," Eames said.

"You guys want something to drink?" Arthur asked as he got up to put the plate in the kitchen.

"I'll have some water," she said.

Arthur got up and went to the kitchen with the cookies. After a minute or two, he came back with her glass of water.

"Thanks," she said as she took the glass from him.

Mary came down a couple minutes later and kissed them on the cheek before leaving for the party.

Ari said bye as she watched her go.

"You know what would be fun?" Arthur said. "There's a street about a five minute walk from here with large houses that go all out for Christmas with lights. Want to go over and look?"

"Yeah, that sounds great," she said. "We always used to pile into the car around Christmas time to go look at lights."

Eames groaned before getting up. "Into the cold it is," he said before going to the bedroom to get dressed.

"Well, it is probably time for you to get out of the house today," she said to him.

"Yeah, yeah," he said with a laugh. Arthur grabbed the remote to turn off the tv and followed Eames to his bedroom.
