[ Fenris' tendency to be concerned about the exact opposite thing of what Draco thought he ought to be concerned with was also frustrating. In a dumb, affectionate way, anyway. There's a faint blush across Draco's cheekbones as he works, showing up obviously against his pale skin. ]

It's hardly nothing. Just because I can fix it doesn't mean it's nothing.

[ he pouts as he glances up to meet Fenris' eyes. ]

...it could've been worse, but that's not the point.

Hmm, perhaps not 'nothing'... but certainly nothing to worry about.

[He glances up from the cut to catch Draco's sad puppydog eyes, making him raise his eyebrows.] Don't... do that. Don't give me that look.

It was a friendly fight. Just a bit of competition.

[He slipped his hand over Draco's, squeezing reassuringly.]

Honestly, if there's anything to be concerned about it's my leggings. [He looked over at the crumpled fabric with a quiet sigh.]

Am I done? Can I thank you yet? Or do you have more painful remedies in store?

[ the request doesn't stop Draco from continuing to make the exact same face. If anything, it only gets more petulant and pouty.

[ he does relinquish slightly, however, at the squeeze of his hand, letting out a quiet sigh. ]

I'm sure there's someone out there capable of fixing your leggings. Or making you a new pair. Surely they're not one of a kind.

[ a beat. ] You can thank me now. I'm done. For now. [ he arches his eyebrows - it's a warning look, one that suggests if Fenris turns out to be more injured than initially anticipated, he's going to be in for it. ]

You're likely right. But, unlike my small cut, they won't mend themselves given time.

[He twists slightly, still frowning at the damage to his leggings, though at this point he's doing so to rile Draco up.

Thanking Draco was much more appealing than continuing to complain about his pants though. Leaning forward, he put a hand on either side of Draco's face. He brushed a light kiss across his lips.]

[ he hums at that, thinking and finally conceding that point. He's not sure he entirely understands, being as concerned with his own safety as he often is, but-

[ well, he can also concede that Fenris has probably been through far worse, and he healed from that.

[ Draco's on the verge of wanting to stick out his tongue in childish response when he's pleasantly surprised by that kiss. ]

...you're welcome. [ there's no doubt that he looks pleased now, most of the riling forgotten; he lifts one hand to cover Fenris' fondly, then leans in to steal another light kiss. ]
