Comment with your character, preferences, preferred role, and any information you'd like to include.
Your character has either been injured/sick and had to be taken in (possibly against their will) or has been the one to help somebody like the former. Through the mending process, the two characters in a thread have fallen in love - or at least grown closer and more affectionate.
[The obvious default would be healer - canonically prone to just wandering around and restoring whatever seems in need of restoration, up to and including the dead (without any weird catches, even, provided you don't mind all the weird nature stuff she's just casually throwing on your wounds), but her luck is poor enough there's more than a little opportunity to be the injured party. She's sociable enough I'd actually say gen is just as likely as shippy with this setup, but the world is your oyster. AU/crosscanon/assumed cr all welcome.]
[ Better nurse than patient, though her work leaves her open to some risky situations/potential injuries. M/F for shipping but platonic is a-okay by me too. ]
[ Alex jerks his hand back as the stranger presses something against the open wound on his palm and gives her a disgruntled look. He doesn't know where he is, he doesn't know who this woman is. The last thing he remembers is running after something - something he was sure was something supernatural, and then his foot got caught in a tree root and he tripped... there's a vague memory of slipping and sliding down ... something? A hill maybe? A mountain? Shit, it felt like a damn cliff.
And now he's . . . here, in this place he doesn't recognise. Alex rubs his sore head. ]
[Open to canon or cross canon, M/F for shippy (heโd be really awkward about it though without a lot of cr) but also open to all for gen! Could be the patient (heโs likely to end up in that kind of situation honestly) or the caregiver (But be prepared for him to instantly assume itโs worse than it is). Can be modern AUโd if thatโs a preference!]
[whumps almost too prettily, a fussy patient, and a bit awkward when it comes to trying to help. Non-shipping for now, but feel free to talk me into it.]
[ They've got a small bloody army on the best of days. On the worst it's a mutinous crew who run amuck in the house when dad's in charge. Fortunately Killian is rather good at being childish with his children. That means chasing them and letting them chase him as well. Chaos ensues when Claire's gone. Fun chaos, but it's still chaos at the end of the day. Their absolute favorite thing to do is to wrestle Killian to the ground and wait for him to give up. Which he eventually does. Claire's off running errands and that means that Killian is to make sure that no one winds up at the hospital. Which he typically can accomplish rather easily, but sometimes you just lose control of things a bit.
It's not uncommon for toys to be out and about. It's not uncommon for him to step on all sorts of things that aren't made to be stepped on. Mostly he'll utter a curse and hop about, but sometimes he meets his match. He's carrying two glasses towards the kitchen when he steps on what he can only assume is a toy soldier of some sort. He howls and the glasses fall from his hands immediately. They shatter and he winds up stepping into the shards in an effort to balance himself. He lets out a groan and tries to hop away. Bree appears almost immediately and he tries to right himself. ]
It's alright, love, go back and play with your brother. There's broken glass in there. Go on.
[ He urges her away. ]
Your mother will be home soon.
[ Killian hops and growls his way to the couch once Bree disappears from his sight. Finally he collapses into the couch and holds up his foot. It's bleeding rather profusely and there's bits and such of glass in the bottom of it. The front door opens and shuts which prompts Killian to call out. ]
There's broken glass in the living room. Watch your step. [ He winces as he hesitates to speak once more. ] A bit of blood as well.
