[Ichigo smiles bashfully at that, feeling rather happy as he takes Shokudaikiri’s hand.]

Well, then can you promise me that you’ll show your uncool side only to me? You’re not allowed to show anyone else, okay?

[ Now that he has Ichigo's hand again, he gives it a gentle squeeze before he turns to start walking. Sorry, Ichigo but he's not letting go of that hand now. ]

His blush turns a little pinker as he nods.]

[He moves a little closer because what he wants to say is so terribly embarrassing that he wants to hide a bit against him, but he can’t really do so since they’re moving but he’ll try anyway!]

[ This was only their first date and he already felt like he asked him to marry him in some sort of way. Not that it seemed to bother Shokudaikiri at all. He's wanted to get more of Ichigo's attention for a long time, even though he was always too nervous to act on this feelings. He didn't want to do anything that might ruin what they had before. If he knew back then that Ichigo might feel this strongly for him, he might have acted a little sooner..!

Laughing softly, he gives Ichigo's hand a squeeze and slows his walking so they could walk side by side. ]

I had plans... to maybe walk around and see if there was anywhere you might want to go but now.. I just want to find a quiet place to be with you more.

... a quiet place...? [His mind immediately went to... interesting places! He presses his flushed face slightly against Mitsutada's arm.] Isn't it a bit too early in the day for that...?

[ His face started to heat up a little more when he caught onto what Ichigo thought he meant. Mitsutada cleared his throat. He really wanted to show him his cool sides, but he swears the start of this date has only brought out his embarrassing sides. ]

A-ah... not quite what I meant. Though, that doesn't mean I don't want to keep sticking close to you.

[ He laces their fingers together, giving his hand another gentle squeeze. ]

Oh... [That certainly was embarrassing! He presses his face more against Mitsutada's arm, too shy to look up at him.] Where are you planning on taking me then?

[Then he adds in a whisper.] Though... I'm not opposed to.... the other thing... if you want to.... later...

I was thinking perhaps... a movie or maybe one of the lesser known cafe's in the city, but... if you had any other ideas...

[ After hearing that whisper, he was pretty sure Ichigo had other ideas now at the very least. Not that he was opposed to them. ]

[Ichigo glanced up at him with a smile.]

That sounds good! Let's go to a movie then to a cafe... Ah, and I think there's a seaside carnival starting from today. I heard that there will be fireworks. We could go there afterwards perhaps?

[Well, he only had a vague idea right now. Anyway, he was happy to let Mitsutada make the decisions since he knew how important it was to him to be 'cool'. Even if Ichigo was probably much better at planning and organizing things, in general...]

[ He chuckles a little at that, leaning over just a little so he could "sneakily" give Ichigo a little nuzzle. It was difficult while walking but he was pulling all these emotions out of him. ]

Maybe I should have left the planning to you. You've always been a lot better with these things.

[ His voice gets a little lower as he leans closer again. ]

Maybe if you enjoy this date enough... we can have you plan more in the future.

[Ichigo laughed lightly at that and gave him a playful little nuzzle back, then he lowers his eyes bashfully.]

... that’s only because I’m used to it, out of necessity. [You should see how perfectly choreographed mornings at the Awataguchi household are under Ichigo’s direction!

Ichigo could hear his heart thumping in his ears as Mitsutada deepened his voice and leaned closer.]

[ That made sense. With how many siblings he had to take care of, he must have to be good at organization to get them all out the door and ready for school in the mornings. It was just another thing he could add to the list of things he admired about Ichigo. ]

Well, to be perfectly honest, I don't really know what movies are playing right now. I was... just thinking of places I could sit with you and [ Where people wouldn't notice... ] and movies were the first thing to pop into my head.

[ As embarrassing as that would be, he'd still find it a little adorable in a way. Ichigo's brothers being just as protective over him as he is over them... it was cute. Mitsutada always wanted siblings, so he finds almost everything he learns about them from Ichigo to be cute...

[ He jumped a little at the sudden big brother tone from Ichigo, surprised to find out he could take that kind of tone... Once the surprise wore off though, he couldn't stop himself from laughing a little as he squeezes his hand. ]

[He so wants to find a place to hide his shame at suddenly slipping into that tone, but he can’t for Mitsutada is holding his hand!

[ Honestly, it's mostly because it's a new side of Ichigo he doesn't normally get to see. Every new face, every new feeling, it made Mitsutada more excited. ]

[It was at that moment that Ichigo realised who was perhaps really in charge in this relationship. And here he’d been afraid that Mitsutada would have found him too pushy and bossy if he’d taken the lead...

He smiled, stepped closer and placed his free hand against his boyfriend’s cheek.]

But I thought you wanted to be the cool one...? I really like it when you’re cool too, Mitsutada-kun.

[And he meant it. Though it did also occur to him that he could probably get Mitsutada to indulge his every whim now. It was a dangerous thought that excited him, and Mitsutada was lucky that Ichigo wasn’t the type of person who would misuse this power he apparently had on him.

Ichigo let his fingers lightly brush against Mitsutada’s lips as he pulled his hand away, hinting at what he wanted from him when they were somewhere a little more private. Then he gave him the sweetest smile.]

Could you please get the popcorn and drinks then? I’ll get the tickets.

[ Mitsutada was so focused on the way his heart was racing he almost missed what Ichigo had asked. ]

[Well, Ichigo might have been slightly affected by the relationship he had in a previous life. It had been a very long relationship after all and couples tend to be affected by each other.

He let go of Mitsutada’s hand.]

[And he reached up to place a little kiss on Mitsutada’s cheek, because he felt like it, before he left to get the tickets and give Mitsutada a chance to compose himself.]
