[Indeed, given the method the two siblings must use, it's more or less the first Lunar eclipse in a millennium. Other than Celestia and Luna, as well as some of the oldest dragons, nopony had even seen this before. Well, fortunately Luna had told her subjects about it. Including a certain lavender bookworm.]

Walking through the desert and countryside could prove to be tiresome and painful at times indeed, but this was something she had grown accustomed to, living in such a place. And walking alongside Yeshua made it much more bearable, enjoyable even. Mary looked at the stars alongside him, but did not notice the shooting star and the yellow object in the sky until yeshua drew her attention to it.

"Hum?" she looked at him before quickly looking back up at the sky "No, I don't... Wait-" her eyes widened slightly as she spotted it "I think... You're right. What is this?"

[How he had ended up pulling this assignment was beyond him. He was just about to ask, but as he got out from behind the wheel a large metal case was thrust into his hands. He caught it, and offered the younger man a blank look.

Not only was he playing nanny, but apparently he was also carrying his things.]

Would you care to explain to me why exactly I'm awake at this hour of the night employed as your personal chauffer?

[It could be to ensure his safety after the myriad of security breaches at headquarters over the last few weeks, but he could not be certain. Usually he would not question orders, but standing in the middle of Nowhere In Particular, England he was beginning to rethink his usual strategy.]

She can't decide if she wants to react or not. Part of her thinks he does this just to rile her up. So she settles for rolling her eyes and being humorous over punching him. A lazy half-smile overtakes her lips and she rolls over onto her back, quirking an eyebrow. ]

"I'm not quite sure.." Yeshua replied, straining his eyes, trying to get a better look at the thing. "It..feels like a Gnosis..but I don't remember seeing or hearing of any Gnosis in space before."

Of course, the idea was plausible, but he hadn't ever encountered a Gnosis that flew from space to people. They tended to stay pretty close to people, and thus, to Earth. Before Yeshua could say anything more, the blinking yellow..thing..started to fall right towards them.

If I'm all around distracting why can't I stay just like this? [ She loops her arms around his neck quickly and gets a good grip on him when he leans forward, and after he's done being stupid levels of precious with that nose-kiss, she pulls herself up and gives him a good one right on the lips. ]

[The soothing rush of water would be enough to keep Saya here for a while, but it's the warmth of Hei's arm around her and the solid comfort of his shoulder beneath her head that has her ready to sit for hours. There's something for both of them here: she has the rolling waves, the tinge of salt on her lips, and he has the stars.]

[She can understand part of his fascination. The stars are constant, always the same through the decades and hairpin turns of her life. All of it, though, she doesn't understand -- but she wants to. Because it's a part of him.]

[A flash catches her attention, and her eyes flick upward just in time to catch the wire-thin light streak of a shooting star. She flips their blanket off her arm to point skyward with frantic urgency.]

[Sometimes, in the midst of all the craziness that is... well, their lives in general, the Langley siblings manage to find little, fleeting moments of peace here and there. Tonight is one such occasion, and the sky is perfectly clear, so here we are, lying on our backs, checking out the stars.

Nate is just squinting up at the sky, trying to pick out the constellations. :|a]

[It's late. The sky is dark but clear, and Snow is doing a little stargazing before bed. Right when she's about to turn in for the night, she spots a shooting star out of the corner of her eye, and her face lights up in surprise.]

Oh, look--! [She grabs Charming's arm to get his attention and points up at the sky.] It's a shooting star! We should make a wish.

[ Hei shifts slightly to gaze up where her finger points ] The meteor? [ amusement colors his voice as he remembers another girl who was just as happy, just as excited to see the rock flash across the sky ] Did you make a wish?

[Her eyes widen, making her look comically horrified.] I forgot! Is it too late, you think? [She squints upwards, trying to see if it's still there.]

[ he repressed a smile and simply pointed back up to the sky ] Just watch, you'll see another one.

[For a second she tries to keep pouting, not smile -- but her attempt is laughable, and soon abandoned in favor of nudging him with her shoulder.] You don't know all my wishes.

Mary looked at it as well, wondering what it could be until she heard his words "A Gnosis?" she repeated, a bit startled as she tried to see what it was herself "I... Don't remember hearing about that either. That would be the first time... Maybe it is something else?"

She could hope. Yet Mary took a step backward behind Yeshua as she noticed the thing was falling toward them. Unlike her future vessel, Mary wasn't adept of using her powers to fight, though she could defend herself if necessary "I-I think it's coming toward us..."
