Cultures handle sex incredibly differently. While it may be casual in some societies, in others, the act of copulation equates with commitment. And that's all in one species! This gradient of reactions and attitudes becomes even more complicated with the addition of different species. Yes, species...sentient and sapient, of course! Be those races alien, magical, vampiric, angelic, animalistic, or even a vague mutation of humanity itself, all have a somewhat nuanced view of what sex should be, be it healthy or unhealthy. There's probably even other ways to go about it for them, not to mention the variation in the actual mechanics. How presumptuous to assume that everyone in this whole wide universe would be shaped exactly like bland ol' humans?

Throwing two species together for a sexual rendezvous is inadvisable, yet it happens. Specifically, it happens in this meme. Whether the encounter is nervous, romantic, non-consensual, awkward, sexy, or anywhere in between, there's bound to be baggage, unfamiliarity, and the ultimate culture clash.

Comment with your character, your character's species, and your detailed preferences, because this meme will definitely push some boundaries. Mention if you're open to assumed CR and AUs.
I was fairly liberal while making this meme. Human-mutants or genetically modified humans can count as a different species, because I know there are a lot of those in DWRP.
Feel free to AU characters to be any species you want. Vampire AU! Angel AU! Alien AU! Go crazy.

Power Up: There are interesting ways you can put abilities to use.

The Tempest and her quarters on it have been home long enough now that it feels strange to let someone in, like some invisible boundary Casey's only vaguely aware of has been crossed. It's her space, her one pocket of the universe where no one else can touch her. It's the only place she's really comfortable shedding the Pathfinder title these days because anywhere else there's a role to fill and a reputation to uphold that she's still not entirely sure she's qualified for. It's the only place she can really breathe anymore.

Well, and with Vetra now. Vetra is...someone else entirely. A different sort of comfort, where clarity comes a little easier and she's not totally sure why. Or, not willing to admit it yet, anyway.

"I want you," she breathes in a thick voice that's barely her own. Her skin had prickled uneasily when the doors had slid shut behind Vetra just moments ago but pushing her back against them and dragging her down into a kiss seems to keep the anxiety at bay. They don't get much time to be alone, just the two of them, and definitely not enough time for something as simple and hedonistic as this. But Casey can't stop thinking about her and if it means breaching the sanctity of her private quarters to do something about it then so be it. "Don't ask questions, don't—" don't what? Don't second guess it. "Don't think too much, just kiss me."

Vetra never really lets anyone get as close to her as Casey has. She's had relationships before, and she has friends on the Tempest, but what she feels for the leader of their little crew goes beyond any attachment she's ever felt before. It should be weird, since Ryder's a human, but Vetra's not going to let that stop her. She can let her guard down around the other woman.

She doesn't resist or pull away when Casey pins her against the wall and pulls her down, meeting her lips. Vetra's mouth is malleable enough for a kiss, thankfully, settling her hands on Casey's waist.

Forget the Kett, the Scourge, and all the other assholes. Right now it's just the two of them.

"I won't." Vetra kisses her again, one of her hands running through the other woman's hair.

She's never done something like this before. Not, well. Okay, she's done this before, the desperate, hungry drag of one body against another when things are just right and all the celestial bodies align. But nothing like...this. Nothing like Vetra, not a woman, not a Turian, not someone who really matters the way Vetra does.

"I want," she tries again, her words warm against Vetra's mouth, but she's not even sure how to put into words what she wants. She's not sure she knows the answer herself. She wants so many things and nothing and she wants Vetra closer but getting from step A to step B had seemed far simpler when she'd invited her up and now she's not sure where to go. "I want—" and the words still won't come even with her fingers hooked in the edges of Vetra's armor. "Show me." And it's better, kind of, if a bit hesitant. "Show me how you...you...you know." If only the Initiative could see her now.

Vetra's never been with a human before. She's more than a little curious to see any differences they might have, as far as anatomy goes. She's also a little nervous about being disappointing to Casey, having never done this with a human.

But Casey wants this, just as much as Vetra does. She's not one to disappoint. "You got it. I'll show you mine, and you show me your's."

Vetra slides off her gloves first, setting them aside, then reaches down to slip out of her boots. Then off comes the chest armor, followed by the under-armor shirt. Her chest lacks breasts, as is typical of turians. Finally, her pants are removed. In between her legs, she's seemingly smooth, but closer inspection will reveal a slit in the carapace.
