He turned his attention to the cliff of the alley, finding it completely empty. His cheeks were completely red.

The establishment is dim and loud, full of warm lights casting stark shadows across corners and surfaces. The air is thick with scents and voices, and the volume of words, laughter, and arguments reach a unique sense of deafness on Loki's ears. Instead he sits silently at his darkened table and watches, because it is in his nature to do so: study and observe. Since escaping Asgard -- and avoiding the Chitauri -- it is the safest option to explore, lest he wants someone to recognise him.

But in this corner of the universe, that likelihood is fairly low.

Men and beasts alike around the trickster god are growing ever more inebriated with each swig, while the mug of something-resembling-mead is doing little to ease the sharpened edges of his nerves, for being a lowly mortal drink. That is not to say it is not taking a toll on his sobriety, however, just very slowly...it is his third round. And he hasn't been here long.

After killing and robbing that small ship of space pirates single-handedly, Loki is taking his own little siesta, one could say.

When you love your job, the thought of your vacations aren't the only things getting you through the day. Jadzia was content working on Deep Space Nine - she'd picked her career for a reason, and in a multi-world universe that didn't rely on money, well...it was even more superfluous than it seemed. But she'd been sitting on vacation time for a while now, and Jadzia had long since started approaching everything in her life with a fiery tenacity. She worked hard and played hard, and now was time for the latter - unfortunately, Risa had been a bit too far off after their latest mission into the Gamma Quadrant.

But there's bars everywhere in the universe (except, perhaps, on Vulcan) and Jadzia decided Andoria was scenic enough for a vacation. After breaking in one of the new bars, she could go mountain climbing whenver she happened to wake up the next day. But who was rushing things?

Outside her Federation uniform Jadzia usually dresses according to the occasion, and a trip to the bar for some ale and conversation seemed like the time to replicate a nice dress. Completely self-aware but not self-conscious, Jadzia makes her way over to the bar and doesn't sit yet. She leans onto the counter, long legs covered by the skirt of her dress to her knees, the bare expanse beyond that spotted with the markings of her species. The room is noisy but not rowdy and curious eyes flit around the corners of the bar, glancing at a brunette here and a bald Bolian there.

"Thanks," she says with a wink, not flirting to get anything out of the bartender more than a smile in return. Jadzia is in a great mood and she's set to ensure that everyone she interacts with is, too. Turning around to lean on the bar with her back, she still surveys the place, undecided for the moment as to whom to bother first.
