Purple prose – if u describe a scene it should use as many descriptive words az possible. Like “Amber orbs” or “pools of emerald” for eyes. It’s soooo much more better that way.

Mary sue – omg. Just because my character is a woobie, but also leik the most powerful character and like everyone wants them and is just jealous doesn’t make them a mary sue. They don’t have any flaws at all. STOP FLAMING.

She was glad she had a clever idea for covering up that she wasn't Vision now.

"But it's supposed to be fake!" the man retorted. "And what's this turning thing you're talking about anyway?"

"The blue flashy thing. It makes undead people turn around. Your god must not like libraries."

She knew about the Foundation because she stole some research from them to sell in the black market.

The man bowed. "Apparently I can't just go home, so OK. My name is Miles Edgeworth."

"I'm Althea d'Jorasco, but that doesn't mean I have a dragonmark, because those things are rare, and also I'm a scholar, and dragonmarked healers can't be scholars." Whew, her cover's still intact.

She goes to a bookstore where an angel's wing is being measured and says hi to the shopkeeper in a language the man doesn't understand.

Meanwhile, Edgeworth stared at the books all unhappy because he couldn't read them and he likes reading.

Then the shopkeeper let them into the back room where Edgeworth found a secret door with logic!

"Oh, you must be a detective, because if magic is fake for you then you can't use detect secret doors to find it."

She goes downstairs and talks to a changeling who looks like a half-elf. "This guy turns undead but thinks magic is fake because he's an atheist. I need you to trick him into believing in magic. Also, you need to talk with magic because he doesn't speak any languages."

"Actually, I'm a prosecutor, but that usually means I have to be a detective anyway," Edgeworth clarified.

The changeling who looks like a half-elf nodded to Althea. "OK, but since your psychic powers are stronger than my magic you'll have to translate what I say." ((A/N: Althea/Vision's way more powerful than most of the rest of the people in the story because most people in Eberron are weak but she's from another story we wrote before.))

Althea frowns. "You can't be a prosecutor, though, because there are no courts. You'll have to be an atheist cleric detective for now. Anyway, this guy doesn't have mind powers to talk to you so I gotta talk for him. But he can listen to you if he touches you."

[truthsnomiracle]

"If I have to," Edgeworth grumbled as he shook hands.

"OK, so if you're an atheist cleric you must be carrying something you don't think is a holy symbol but really is," Dil (that was the changeling's name) pointed out. Althea translated what he said.

"All I have is my prosecutor's badge," Edgeworth replied as he presented it. Althea didn't translate this.

"So if you stopped believing in everything that makes you a good prosecutor instead of a bad one, then what?"

"What?!?!?!?!? NO!!! I believe in truth, justice, and the smart person's way!" Edgeworth cried. Then his badge glowed and he glowed right after. Then Edgeworth went to angst in a corner.

Althea nods to Dil. "Thanks for making him glow again, but I don't know why he likes believing in stuff but hates the idea of believing in stuff... Oh, well, maybe we should go for a walk."

She goes to the stairs to wait for Edgeworth to stop angsting and come look at stuff.

Edgeworth didn't stop angsting, but he stopped looking like it as much and went over to Althea. "Can you show me the rest of what's weird about this place?"

Althea takes Edgeworth over to a market where they are selling blank books. "These are special books you can use to write spells in, but you can use them for normal writing too. They have to be made with rituals and materials."

Edgeworth shrugged. "I have my organizer."

Suddenly everyone in the market stares at Edgeworth's organizer because it's cool and futuristic to people without technology.

Althea notices it has a mechanical device in the center. "I bet you could make some money selling that to an artificer."

"I'm not selling my organizer!" Edgeworth cried. "Can't I just work for money?!"

"Maybe if you leave Zilargo. You can't be a prosecutor or a detective here because there's no crimes." It made Althea kind of nervous how safe everything was, she wished she was back home in Breland where things were corrupt and there were criminals to be fought.

((A/N: Normally Vision/Althea is in Sharn, but we decided to make this be in Korranberg because she sometimes studies there, and Edgeworth doesn't like flying.))

"Then I'll just have to go someplace where I'll be useful as soon as I can."

"Well, we're right next to the border with Darguun, but that's the goblin country where there are slaves and they attack travelers, so you probably don't wanna go there. If you go west on the roads you'll eventually get to Sharn, which is a big vertical city where everyone flies a lot. If you take the magic lightning train north it also goes into Breland."

Althea goes over toward the train station.

Edgeworth didn't like how Sharn sounded because it sounded like it probably had a lot of elevators.

"I don't see a track, just a bunch of little blue pyramids," Edgeworth said when they got to the station.

"Then are elementals fake in your world too? It sounds like your trains are just machines." Althea was starting to guess what the man's world was like because of all the things he insisted were fake.

"The train is run by people with dragonmarks, they control the lightning elemental that runs down the track by zapping the pyramids. What do your trains run on, something like wheels?"

"You're correct on both counts," Edgeworth affirmed. "What's a dragonmark?"

"They're magical tattoos that only people from certain families get, so they created these large family monopoly businesses called Houses. The magical trains are run by humans from House Orien, the inns are run by halflings from House Ghallanda, the theaters are run by elves from House Phiarlan or House Thurrani, the hospitals are run by halflings from House Jorasco, the magical telegraphs are run by gnomes from House Sivis, the security guards are humans from House Deneith, the engineers are humans from House Cannith, the banks are run by dwarves from House Kundarak, the boats are run by half-elves from House Lyrandar, the stables are run by humans from House Vadalis, the detective agencies are run by half-elves from House Medani, and the bounty hunters are humans and half-orcs from House Tharashk. They also sell all the dragonshards."
