"Crap." He hated decaf. On principle. "Some people might take that as a sign of OCD."

Her gaze narrowed at him, flicking a stray packet across the surface of the table at him. "I might see it as something to do while I wait for coffee."

He caught the packet in one hand. "Why do you wear so much make up?"

[better]

"Why do you care?" She flicked another packet at him.

[sarcasticdefence]

He shrugged and let it hit him in the face. "Nosy."

[better]

She grinned when it hit him.

"We were at a club. This isn't what I would wear to school." Okay, maybe she wore it that first day, but that was about making impressions.

"Well, not all the time." He tore open a packet of sugar to start eating it.

[better]

Her head turned a bit, giving him a sideways glance.

"Since when are you paying attention to the make-up I wear?"

"It's hard to miss."

[better]

"Good." She exhaled as she sat up straighter, her leg crossing over the other and knocking into the table. Her monument of packets fell apart with the nudge, causing her to frown.

"And I started watching closely for signs of violence. Especially against me."

[better]

She rolled her eyes at him.

"Please, you need to let it go."

She beat him unconscious, tossed him in a dumpster and did a grand of damage to his jeep. He felt he wasn't being unreasonable in not letting go of that yet.

Poor baby. She thinks he seemed to survive pretty nicely.

Ooh! Coffee! Thank you, NPC waitress.

"Should I throw more sugar at you?"

[sarcasticdefence]

"Well, since you've gotten me decaf, yeah. More sugar is good." He takes the offered coffee and piles sugar into it.

"You are extremely picky for someone who doesn't like coffee." She flicks another one at him.

[sarcasticdefence]

"Shush. And stop assaulting me with sugar."

[better]

She wrinkles her nose at him, then slides a jelly container toward her finger and flicks that at him. It does not go as far, probably because it's too heavy and she didn't want it to explode.

It falls short and he looks at her. "Really?"

[better]

Her hand reaches out, snagging it as she lines it up to try again, "Yes, really."

This time it goes further, but just barely gets over the edge of the table, dropping onto his lap.

"Want me to get that?"

"No, that's fine," he answers quickly, grabbing it and setting it next to his coffee. "Thanks."

[better]

She watches him, possibly a bit more intently than needed. Sipping her coffee.

"Did you want to order anything?"

[sarcasticdefence]

He shakes his head, adding another sugar and stirring his coffee absently. "Nah. I ate a fair bit before the party exploded into brawling. Don't let me stop you."

"Okay," she replied trying to grab the attention of their NPC waitress. When she finally made her way over, Erica ordered pancakes with bacon... and some fries... and some ice cream.

"You sure you don't want anything?"

Stiles rocked in his seat, then nodded. "Yeah, burger, thanks."
