LOCATIONS 1. HOUSE Your home, someone else's home, a haunted house up on the hill, whatever. 2. WOODS Why are you out in the woods? Why are you courting ghosts? Stop that and go home before slenderman gets you. 3. CHURCH This is a place of safety, right? Nothing can get you here, right? 4. MISC For anywhere that's not above. Haunted hospitals, prisons, "asylums," and so on. Just do what you will. WHO ARE YOU? 1. STUPID KID From the dumbass teenager to the stupid kid sitting on the internet reading creepypasta, you're young and dumb and probably gonna get murdered by a ghost. 2. SOME ASSHOLE You're basically the dumbass dad that moves his family into some haunted-ass place. You don't listen because the house is PERFECT and nothing could possibly be wrong. Walls are dripping blood? Nah, it's just water damage. 3. HISTORIAN/ETC You're smart. So now you're pissed off. Maybe they did the ritual right and you're bound to protocol, or they fucked up and you get to have fun. Careful though, don't get exorcised. 6. INNOCENT BYSTANDER You're not stupid, everyone around you is just a dumbass. Your family moved into a scary house and you want out, your roommate did some dipshit ritual and pissed off a demon and now you're stuck, whatever. Survive first, unfriend them on facebook later. SCENARIOS 1. GHOST HUNTING Okay, you're pretty much a dumbass. Maybe you're legit or maybe you're just some amped up dude-bro, you're going to explore the far corners of the world in search of cool shit! Don't get murdered by a pissed off ghost, maybe. They're gonna scratch your nipples. 2. SCARY STORIES You're not actually as much of a dumbass as some of the other options! You're just sitting around telling scary stories. That's not too bad, right? Except you forgot that words have power and you can still call up some shit. 3. TIME TO PLAY You read about some cool scary game on the internet and you want to go through with it. You know, just to see. Here are some suggestions, dumbass. 4. SUMMONING ALL HAIL THE KING OF THE DUMBASSES. You wanted to summon a demon either to control it or ask it something or just to see if you could. Get ready to get messed up, because honestly? You shouldn't have messed with this shit. Better hope your circle of salt works, or you're screwed. 5. POSSESSION Y'all, this is some shit. Don't be a dumbass, call up some priests. Don't try to take care of this yourself. You know better. Don't listen to the demons. 6. HAPPENSTANCE Okay, maybe you weren't acting the dumbass. Maybe you just stumbled onto something on accident. Still, you disturbed someone's slumber and now you gotta get out. As always, these are just suggestions. Make up anything you want, as long as you're having fun! Shanoa is built for this. Whatever the reaosn you have her with you, she can be depended upon. Still, she is more used to working alone. Perhaps she's shown a glimpse of it. The mysterious powers afforded to her by the Glyphs that remain ever exposed on her back and shoulders. Perhaps she arrived at this house by way of the sky, carried on black wings that shed feathers red that have yet to appear again. They are in a house after all and the narrow corridors don't allow very good flying.

Another mark of distinguish might be the confidence she brings. Shanoa assumes the vanguard, marching first ahead of her new companion. Or companions.

If she were being honest she'd have liked them to remain outside the house and left it all up to her, but she's too kind to tell someone 'no' if they insist on coming. All she can do is keep her eye out, go a little slower, and keep them safe. She intends to accomplish those missions.

But maybe her companion isn't who she expects. Maybe she's meant to be killed or trapped or worse, but don't expect easy prey. Shanoa fights, and she's downright terrifying in a staredown.

[ Now, Salem had known he was probably in for a bit of an interesting ride when he'd decided to bind himself to a young witch who'd barely touched on her ability and power. He hadn't quite exected her to go off and defy the Dark Lord himself but that just made things even more interesting as far as Salem was concerned.

Even if interesting meant dealing with dream demons, exorcisms, Satanic court cases, attempted curses, and worst of all, boys. That last one is a bit more than he signed up for but he can manage for Sabrina's sake. The running off half-cocked chasing down dangerous entities bit? That's more normal. And so here they are in some ancient house on the edge of Greendale that's got something of a reputation for bad accidents, strange occurrences, and even stranger disappearances. Supposedly the walls bleed at midnight or something but that seems like pretty mundane stuff, as far as Salem is concerned.

And yet here he is with Sabrina, getting involved in helping mortals again. He winds about her ankles with a faint, questioning 'mrow?' Is this really how she wants to spend tonight? Especially when she has school tomorrow (mortal school though it might be)?

A group of kids attempting to chase down ghosts in the basement of a church in California. What will they think up next?

Dean got the tip from an old hunter contact; something about a rumor about nuns and strange rituals back in the Good Old Days, and some poor bastard who'd run right into the middle of it.

Naturally, the truth of the matter got buried beneath what grew into folkore, which then proceeded to lure in unsuspecting teenagers of all ages over the years. This is the first time someone (or several someones, to be more accurate) has died, though.

So Dean hauled tail, leaving Sam and Cas behind in the bunker to research different ways of potentially opening up rifts. He needs the work; he needs to keep his mind off of losing mom and Jack.

It isn't hard to follow the group of teens making their way to the basement; they're not exactly the epitome of subtle. Dean follows at a distance, a gun filled with rocksalt in his hands with several other weapons, mostly all iron, ready to go in his belt.

The teenagers are just forming a circle and taking out some mysterious (and potentially terrible) items to make use of in whatever it is they're trying to accomplish here. (Hopefully not summoning the spirit of their recently deceased friend.)

He kicks the door down, mostly for dramatic effect. Let it never be said that Dean can't keep up with the drama of teenagers.

It's then he realizes that he isn't alone; someone else from the opposite side of the room seems to have had the same idea as him.

Other people being Emma Frost. Emma Frost had said prettymuch exactly that before he'd left after Pete called him (Kurt isn't much of a texter- you try using touchscreens with thumbs as big as his). She'd also made some comments about Kurt's willingness to help non-mutants in need being a waste of school resources and made him swear to take any damages incurred to his costume out of his personal expenses on this personal trip.

At least one of the students had been willing to give him a ride to the city on their way in. The joys of being one of the more popular teachers among the student body at that little private school that totally isn't a child soldier factory or whatever the Bugle is claiming about them these days.

Even if Kurt is the second choice, he doesn't seem to be holding that against Peter. He's here, with beads on- rosary beads, that is, tucked at his hip, along with holy water, a silver crucifix and every other faithful Catholic's arsenal against the restless dead.
