This adventure started like any other when it came to them, with Aphra promising the pay would be huge and there'd hardly be any trouble this time. Of course when it's her, there's always trouble.

The old temple they're in was stuffy, dark, and musty. Perfect, if you asked her. There was something she loved about places like this, but she was an archaeologist after all. Aphra led the way, carrying an artificial light source to guide them as she inspected the inscriptions on the walls.

"I still can't tell what sect they were part of..." she said mostly to herself, since she was sure Han knew nothing about ancient beliefs of Force users. As they reached the end of the hallway, she ran her fingers along the walls.

"Wait, this is-!"

Like other parts of the temple, there were skeletons strewn about the floor. But this time, they all seemed to be pointing to something. A pedestal on which a bright green crystal sat. Picking up her pace, she stepped over the corpses to examine the artifact.

"Not kyber, but..."

Before she could finish her sentence, the crystal emitted a blinding light and some sort of force pushed them both to the ground.
