[When Cyuss wakes up, he's feeling good. Tired, but good. He shifts against the pillows, not sure why he's woken up, but he wants to fall asleep immediately. He has everything he needs; he has a nice afterglow going on, he has a soft weight to sleep against, and...

...That's where everything goes wrong.

He panics, gets out of bed, yells at some woman he doesn't even remember and who now clearly thinks he's crazy before he's clued into just how big he is now. It's when he finally makes it to the mirror that he realizes just how fucked up things really are. He didn't sleep with this woman, Hol Horse did. And somehow now he's in his old friend's body (using the term friend loosely, since the bastard ran away on him again).

He doesn't waste time looking for all of his clothes. Once he's pulled on a pair of pants and his hat (somehow, he feels like he needs it), he's storming through the hotel and looking for his room. The one he rented last night, the one he hopes his body is still sleeping in. As luck would have it, they're both in the same hotel, but what does that mean? How is this even possible? How do people even walk without a tail?

It's barely 4AM when he's pounding on the door of the room that was rented out to him.]

[Tseng is used to strange. In a way, it's almost become normal. This, on the other hand, is beyond even what he's used to. He can feel the planet, and he's not at all certain whether that should be comfortable or extremely weird.

He's also pretty sure that he's going to need to do a lot of explaining, if him being in a body not his own means that the inverse is also true. But one thing at a time, even if he's already seeing if Aeris has something he can use to text his own phone with.]

[All things considered it's probably just as well that Cid and Shera live in close proximity to each other. Especially given that Cid is prone to swearing at the drop of a hat when things go wrong, and he's pretty sure that being shorter than he's used to being counts as wrong.

It's only after the usual tirade of profanity that he realizes that most definitely isn't his voice. Needless to say, this only prompts another bout of swearing. If Shera had ever been interested it what she sounded like swearing... well, she probably has a decent idea now.]

Kirk had always thought that Bones' fear of space and the various technologies that life in space required you to rely on was ridiculous.

Of course, this is coming from a man who's careened through space with a cracked helmet and found himself hurtling towards death more often than he should have for his limited time on board a starship, but he's still of the opinion that Bones worries too much about the dangers of space.

It'll be fun trying to hold onto that opinion now.

Kirk and Spock are returning to the ship from a brief and entirely uneventful trip to the surface of a planet, and things would appear, on the surface, to be normal now that they've returned, except that they're not.

Kirk realizes quickly that something is wrong, because he doesn't feel right. There's a chill in the transporter room, as though the temperature on board the ship is kept too cool for comfort, which isn't generally the case. It's more than just that. His body feels different, wrong, and he's starting to wonder if he's picked something up from the planet as he turns to get a look at Spock and see if he's experiencing anything similar, when he comes face to face with... himself.

And he just stares, mouth agape, making Spock's usually stoic face look almost comical with incredulity.

"What the fuck," he says, and it's definitely not his voice.
