Sometimes, you just need a break-- even from your vacation-- because, face it, running around on the beach, at that theme park, or in that city in a strange land can get tiring. Sometimes, you just want to laze around at the hotel... and, sometimes, you wonder why you want to leave a place that has everything you'd need? Room service, heated pools, jacuzzies, rec room, spa services, a fully stocked bar...

 

Hey, they've even got a giant, walk-in shower in your room-- and those awesome cookies! What's not to love!?

 

The Deets:

 

-Post your top levels with your character and your interests. You want it? The Hotel will have it for you, no questions asked. That is, unless you wanted a lion in your room-- they might charge a little extra for that!

 

-Tag around. Running around on the elevators with a drink in your hand, hitting every floor, and hassling the staff is awesome, but it's even more awesome if you've got a friend with you!

[He offers a smile back.]

But then I wouldn't be me.

[ She quirks a small smile, shaking her head at him. ]

How did I get so lucky, huh?

How you call this lucky I'll never know.

It’s called sarcasm, Tiger. Thought you’d be able to detect it by now.

With shit like that I can never tell when you're being serious. 'cause you're crazy.

[ She nudges his foot under the table, releasing his hand to unravel her silverware as the waiter brings over an appetizer. ]

[He nudges back, gently, barely glancing up at the waiter.]

So we've established.

[ She murmurs a thank you to the waiter, plucking out a few pieces of calamari and starting in. ]

Long as you agree.

You realize me agreeing that I'm crazy means I'm not, right?

[He shoves the food around on his plate, not eating much.]

[ She rolls her eyes. ]

That’s so not how that works.

[ She munches in her food, smirking at him. ]

[His drink finally arrives and he downs half of it in one go.]

Who needs research when you’ve got experience?

So that's what all your reporting is? Experience?

[He just looks at her. And nudges her foot again.]

[ She attempts to hide a smile, nudging his foot back and shrugging a shoulder. ]

Didn’t read as many books as you did, I’m sure.

[It's true, he read a library's worth, but he needed to be prepared. It's what he does.

He pushes his plate away and looks across at her for a silent moment.]

We need to do this more often.

[ She’s used to the random bouts of silence he gets in conversation, busying herself with eating and glancing around the room. When he speaks again, she shoots him a smile. ]

You suggesting I take you out on more dates, Mr. Creed?

[oldmancreed]

Thought I was doing the taking here.

[He leers at her playfully, not minding if the staff can hear him.]

I'll definitely be doing the taking later tonight.

[ She grins, sipping at her wine and glancing at him playfully. ]
