Sometimes, you just need a break-- even from your vacation-- because, face it, running around on the beach, at that theme park, or in that city in a strange land can get tiring. Sometimes, you just want to laze around at the hotel... and, sometimes, you wonder why you want to leave a place that has everything you'd need? Room service, heated pools, jacuzzies, rec room, spa services, a fully stocked bar...

 

Hey, they've even got a giant, walk-in shower in your room-- and those awesome cookies! What's not to love!?

 

The Deets:

 

-Post your top levels with your character and your interests. You want it? The Hotel will have it for you, no questions asked. That is, unless you wanted a lion in your room-- they might charge a little extra for that!

 

-Tag around. Running around on the elevators with a drink in your hand, hitting every floor, and hassling the staff is awesome, but it's even more awesome if you've got a friend with you!

He pushes his plate away and looks across at her for a silent moment.]

We need to do this more often.

[ She’s used to the random bouts of silence he gets in conversation, busying herself with eating and glancing around the room. When he speaks again, she shoots him a smile. ]

You suggesting I take you out on more dates, Mr. Creed?

Thought I was doing the taking here.

[He leers at her playfully, not minding if the staff can hear him.]

I'll definitely be doing the taking later tonight.

[ She grins, sipping at her wine and glancing at him playfully. ]

Damn straight. She'll be asleep and it'll just be you and me.

[She even has her own room here!]

And the babysitter.

[ She grins at him though, foot lingering against his. ]

She can go when we get back.

[He reaches for her hand, bringing it over for a gentle kiss.]

It's a special night.

[ She can’t help but grin, eyes glinting curiously at him. ]

Oh yeah?

[He exaggeratedly glances around the room.]

All this is ours. Officially.

Ours, huh? I don’t remember signing any paperwork.

[He waves a hand.]

It's mine, it's yours.

[ She chuckles, shaking her head at him. ]

You really love bypassing formalities, don’t you?

I'd prefer a handshake, but that don't pass muster anymore.

I don’t remember shaking your hand to agree to be your wife, though.

Back in the day I'd be shaking hands with your dad.

[ She narrows her eyes. ]

Careful, Tiger.

Why, for telling it like it was? Have gotten a decent dowry for you, too.

[The main course arrives and he digs right in. This is what he's been waiting for. Well, this and dessert with her upstairs later.]

Could we not talk about how things were back when women were property, please?

[ She sighs, digging into her food. ]

[He bites back a 'but you were' and sighs as well. It wasn't supposed to go like this.]

The fish any good?

[ He’s good at derailing conversations all by himself. ]

Fine.

[oldmancreed]

I'd like your opinion to know if the food's good enough to keep the chef on.

[He's eaten here before for meetings and such, but he wants more than just his own judgment.]

[ She shrugs. ]

It’s good. Tastes likes salmon. Vegetables are a little salty.

[ She nudges the food around on her plate. ]

[He throws a glance at the waiter, who rushes off to tell the kitchen.]

You gonna be mad all night?
