The premise of the meme is simple. Two characters, lovers, have been separated for a time. How long is up to you, as is the reason for the separation. Was it unwilling - an imprisonment, a required journey - or because of a choice one of the characters made? The reason may, of course, color the reunion, and somebody may be pretty miffed, with good reason. Still, the theme is the same: intimacy after being apart.
This meme is mostly geared towards being a smut meme, but nobody will judge you for just doing so heavy fluff.
"legion of Doom. Wow. That's intense. Can I ask why? I mean Id figure you were thinking taking them out from the inside, but...was that actually it." Barry asks softly. He understands bad choices. He'd fucked with time himself after all.
Len had been hesitant to bring up what he'd done last year because he knew
how badly Thawne fucked with Barry alone. He sits down and sighs. "Thawne
got into my head," he admits softly, "I thought I could handle him...that
dying was the worst thing that could have ever happened to me. But I forgot
that he was from the future...that he knew things I didn't. And he used it
against me....twisted things around until we had what he wanted and the
world was a mess."
"Yeah...he does that." Barry says softly. "He twists things, tells you just enough to make your brain fill in the blanks just how he wants them to be filled...I'm starting to think that no matter what I'll never be rid of him." He set his fork down and reaches across the table to place his hand overtop of Len's. "Do you wanna talk about it? What he told you? It's okay if you don't."
Len looks right into his lover's eyes. He isn't a man who gives in to
weakness easily and admitting when he's wrong is even worse. He hadn't even
told Mick what Thawne had said to rattle him he was so ashamed of his
actions, but Barry deserved to know the truth. "He told me....he told me
I'd be forgotten in the future. That I wasn't ever a Legend or even a
criminal. I was just gone." Len could have lived with that...If Thawne
hadn't kept going. "He said even you forgot me. That your whole focus was
him and not one of the Rogues because none of us mattered as much as he
did."
Barry gives Len a soft and loving smile. "I'm sorry he said that. That he used your fears against you. I don't know what the future holds for us, but I do know one thing. There is nothing that could make me forget you Leonard Snart. You're burned into my very core. Forever." Then his face breaks into a conspiratory grin. "Plus Thawne is full of himself and likes to feel important. He was probably projecting."
"The funny thing is....when we...when we got what Thawne wanted and we
rewrote the universe......it was awful. Yeah I could take whatever I wanted
but the Legends weren't there....you weren't there. It was cold and dull
and the only one who was happy was Thawne. Even Merlyn felt how hollow it
was."
"Yeah...sounds about right." Barry says gently still holding Len's hand and offering support and love. In spite of all their faults, Barry knew he wouldn't be happy without Len around as well.
"You tried to warn me....Stein tried to warn me....but I was too stubborn
and now the Legends are in trouble because I couldn't admit I was stuck.
I'm suprised they let me back on the team in the end." He sighed. "Speaking
of which...is Cisco busy with anything? Stein and Jax need some help with
something."
"I don't know. I don't think so. I'm sure if it was to help Professor Stein and Jax though he'd be willing to help. Well, pretty sure anyway. Want me to call him?" Barry asks.
"If you wouldn't mind," Len says softly, "Stein is ready to leave the
team...and he doesn't want Jax to be forced to leave too if you catch my
drift Scarlet." For all his tension with the oldest member of the team Len
is quite sure he's ready to let Martin go yet...he's always been a bit
resistant to change.
"I'll text him tonight, give him more details in the morning." Barry says getting his phone and doing just that, then turns his attention back to the thief before him. "You didn't answer my question though...will you be going back or staying here?"
"Haven't decided yet," Len answered honestly, "figured I'd make the
decision after Eddie and Iris' wedding. I hate to leave Mick on his own,
but I don't want the Time Assholes riding the rest of the team because of
my mistakes. Sharp made it clear she wasn't just talking about Thawne
either...apparently the Bureau is still pretty pissed about my blowing up
the Oculus." He takes a drink from the beer. "Save the universe and people
still find a way to hate you."
Barry gives a small smirk at his last statement. "Hero 101. People love you when they need you, but then they hate you when they don't. It's easy to blame the people who do something..especially when it goes sideways. I'm just glad you didn't die...permanently anyway." He says before standing up and moving to straddle Len's legs while he sat in the chair. He wraps his arms around the older mans shoulders and gives him an adoring smile. "Pretty sure I'd be an even bigger mess without you around. Also, who else would I get to go with me to the wedding on such short notice." He teases and leans in for a gentle kiss.
"Whatever you decide I'll be in your corner. And if Share get to be too much just give her a nudge towards Sara. Pretty sure their tension is worse than ours ever was."
Len snorts. "You could cut it with a knife Scarlet," he says placing his
hands on Barry's hips to steady him, "not that Sara can see how bad Sharp's
crush on her is. If Sharp didn't hate me so much I'd lock them on the time
ship and refuse to let them out until they had sex...twice." He laughs
softly. "Sara's like me....we flirt we fuck but when it comes to the love
part we have to be whacked on the head or die to get the hint. In our case
we did both."
"Yeah, but you got better in the end and I got you back." Barry says tilting his head slightly. And you could still lock them in a room together, Gideon would help if you asked. She likes you."
Len laughs. "The idea is tempting," he says leaning in to drop a kiss on
Barry's mouth, "maybe after the wedding. Things have been weird enough I
don't want to make them worse and ruin all Iris' hard work."
"Please and thank you. I really do NOT want to deal with my sister if we ruin her wedding. It's bad enough I have to make a 'Dude' of honor speech." He says making an apprehensive face.
Len chuckles. "And I thought I had it bad trying to keep Mick away from the
open bar," he says, "you'll be fine Scarlet...just be honest and tell her
how much she means to you and how sad you'll be that Eddie is finally
getting to keep her."
Barry laughs and rolls his eyes affectionately. "Thank you for being with me." He says honestly. "I'm not entirely sure I could handle all of this without you."
"I'm the one who should be thanking you Barry," Len says his tone
affectionate, "you didn't give up on me ever. I am where I am because you
believed in me whole sale."
"What I want is you," Len growls softly, "in two days all our friends will
be back in town for the wedding and we will have no damm time to ourselves
until the love birds are on their honeymoon."
"I'm all yours." Barry says pressing a little closer. "The others are on call for the night and I'm off work until after the wedding." He adds before leaning in for another kiss.
Len kisses his lover deeply for once putting all his doubts and fears
aside. Now was not the time to worry but the time to love, the worry could
wait for a little while longer. He rests one hand on the back of Barry's
head stroking his short hair.
Barry gives a soft groan and presses closer into the kiss his hand trailing over the back of Len's head and his upper back over his shirt. "Hmmm...want you. Missed you so much." He whispers between kisses. "Love you."
