The premise of the meme is simple. Two characters, lovers, have been separated for a time. How long is up to you, as is the reason for the separation. Was it unwilling - an imprisonment, a required journey - or because of a choice one of the characters made? The reason may, of course, color the reunion, and somebody may be pretty miffed, with good reason. Still, the theme is the same: intimacy after being apart.
This meme is mostly geared towards being a smut meme, but nobody will judge you for just doing so heavy fluff.
Barry smiles and carries his plate so that Len doesn't have to carry everything. He turns on the TV in the bedroom so they can watch a little something while they eat and just enjoy each other's company.
Len settles on the bed long limbs stretched out as he digs into his food.
After everything it's nice to just relax and be at peace. No one riding his
ass, no time aberations no wondering if anyone trusts him. It was just him
and Barry and for a few days nothing will bother that as they watched two
people get married.
Barry got up a little while later to refill his plate and come back. After both of them finish eating he zips through the dishes before returning to the bed and snuggling up close to Len. "Did you still wanna come to the rehearsal dinner? tomorrow night?"
"Someone has to keep Mick from drinking Jitters dry," Len said with a quiet
laugh, "be nice to see Wells again too and your super friend Kara." He
leans over and presses a kiss to Barry's hair. "Haven't seen her since the
music thing." The time where he'd poured his heart out in song...only to
have Thawne...stomp all over that joy and remind him that he isn't
important...isn't good enough for Barry and never will be.
"Still think you should sing with me someday. You have such a beautiful voice." Barry whispers as he brings the blankets up over their naked bodies. "Kara's excited to see you too. To see everyone really." Barry yawns and snuggles closer. "Who knows. Maybe one day we'll get something like this too." He whispers as sleep slowly settles over him.
"Not gonna happen kid," Len "I'm not the performing type." Really having
to rescue Barry from that strange mentalscape and pouring his heart out
like he did had put him off singing for a very long time. "I'm content to
listen to you."
Barry is already asleep before Len even explains that he won't sing to him. His breathing is even, his body at ease and resting for the first time in months. He always sleeps better when Len is around. It really is so very nice to have him home, even if it's only for a little while.
Len chuckles softly and presses a soft kiss to Barry's hair and mutters a
soft. "Love you Scarlet...more than anything and maybe someday I can say it
when someone isn't forcing me to sing it." He closes his eyes and drifts
into a light sleep and in the morning he is the first one up and cooking
breakfast as he quietly hums to the radio.
Barry shuffles sleepily into the kitchen and rests his head against Len's shoulder for a moment, kissing his cheek good morning before he moves to get himself some coffee and taking a seat at the counter to watch Len cook. "Got any plans for today?"
"Didn't get a wedding gift yet," Len says, "and before you ask I'm not
planning on stealing anything. Had a friend making something last time I
was in town and he called yesterday to say it was ready. Then I'm gonna
check on Lisa...then gonna pick up the Legends for the rehearsal dinner.
They are taking care of a thing in 1156 England first."
"Busy day. I gotta help Iris with some stuff, then go with Eddie to get my tux and a couple other things before heading to the rehearsal. Guess we won't see much of each other today."
"Want to meet at Jitters then," Len asks, "maybe grab a quiet corner before
all the hoopla gets going?" He knows he won't have much time with Barry
tomorrow and after he and the Legends will be off on the quest to stop
Darhk and whatever his plan is. He wants to store up good memories to see
him through those dark days.
"Yeah, we can meet at Jitters. Is it selfish of me to just wanna stay home and spend the whole day with you?" He asks because well...it's what he really really wants to do.
Len shakes his head. "No it's not," he admits softly, "I'd love nothing
more myself Scarlet. But Iris and Eddie have been planning this forever and
it isn't fair to them to be selfish...and that's me saying that."
Barry smiles softly and sighs. "Well, guess we better get this day started. I'll see you this evening." He says cleaning up and then kissing Len gently. He really wishes he could just stay right here...they both deserve this...even if they can't have it.
Len kisses Barry back lightly. "See you tonight Scarlet," he says his voice
warm, "try to stay out of trouble okay? This is supposed to be a vacation
not another mission."
"Don't jinx it." Barry murmurs softly and then he heads back to the bedroom to get dressed before speeding out to go get his tux.

It's been an exceedingly long and draining day. Fun! But draining. He's stifling a yawn when he settles into a booth next to Len at CC Jitters later that evening. There aren't that many people around just yet, it's early still. Soon though he knows the place will be full as family and the wedding party gather for the meal following the wedding rehearsal that had just finished.
"Hey." Barry says softly, smiling warmly. "Missed you today."
Len was sitting a bit tense in the booth and he relaxes when he sees Barry
Things with the Legends have been interesting today. Between Martin and Jax
trying to figure out where Firestorm was going to end up and Mick being
sulky because Len was thinking of leaving the ship. Not to mention the
romantic nonsense between Nate and Ayama. It was giving him a headache. He
smiles at Barry. "Hey there Scarlet," he says dropping his voice to a
whisper, "you survived the male bonding experience," he teases lightly.
"Eh, it wasn't so bad. I would have rather spent the day with you of course, but there are worse things to do than spend time with my soon to be brother in law and friends." Barry smiles and kisses his cheek. "You look like you had a somewhat rough day...you have that forehead crease you get when you're stressed." He says gently running his thumb over said crease in a loving and tender way.
"It was a rough day," Len admitted, "I forget sometimes how hard it is to
be around people younger than me and Mick combine." He chuckles and leans
in to kiss Barry deeply. He pulls back. "Sometimes the Legends can out
drama even Team Arrow and that's a feat." He pushes a glass of whiskey at
Barry and then reaches for his and takes a sip.
Barry furrows his brows in sympathy. He knows he's younger than Len but he knows Len isn't referring to him. He has to bite back the groan when he's kissed deeply and his eyes are full of stars and love when they do pull apart.
"Thanks." He says when he picks up the glass of whiskey. He goes to take a sip before stopping and looking back up at Len. "Is this speedster whiskey or regular?"
"Regular with a few drops of your special booze," Len replies with a wicked
smile, "don't want you completely down for the count, but you deserve to
have fun tonight. It's been a rough few months for you too Scarlet
remember."
Len's teasingly wicked smile always makes his body do interesting things. He loves this man so much. Truly.
He takes a sip of the drink savoring the rich flavor and the slight burn. It fills him with warmth of a different sort and he sets the tumbler down and leans to rest his head on Len's shoulder. "I try not to think about whats happened too much because it makes me a sad and depressed Barry and I can't afford that right now."
Len feels his heart throb and he takes a bigger sip of his drink letting
the burn of the whiskey travel down his throat. "I thought I was the one
who hid how he was really feeling," he says his tone still teasing lightly.
Then he lets it even out. "Barry...it's okay. Don't bottle up. The world
needs the Flash remember?"
"Huh, oh no, I didn't mean it like that. I mean that I just try not to dwell on it. I get low like everyone else and I try to make sure I you about it even if I don't tell everyone else. Sometimes I think the rest of the team forgets about Barry and only thinks about the Flash, but you've never done that. I'm grateful for it.
