( the affectionate physical contact meme )

you love spending time with your significant other. but sometimes, just "spending time" with him/her isn't enough. you need to have your hands on each other every now and then.
➝ post your character below, with your character's name and series in the subject.
➝ tag other people, using an rng with range 1-8 to roll a scenario.
➝ roll as many times as you want, play out whatever you want
one; hugging. you just want to give your loved one a warm embrace. be it out of happiness, to comfort them while they're down, or just to give them something warm to latch onto, you just want to wrap your arms around them.
two; kissing. whether it's a peck on the cheek or a deep kiss, a kiss good-bye or a romantic kiss, you find yourself compelled to kiss the other person! be as tender or as passionate as you so choose.
three; holding hands. it's a simple gesture, really -- to reach out and take someone's hand. but that one simple gesture can convey any number of sentiments. what the sentiment is, is up to you, but you find yourself reaching out to take your significant other's hand.
four; carrying. is your loved one hurt and needs a lift? do they want a piggyback ride? or do you just want to spare them the effort of walking? whatever the reason, you're now itching to pick up your partner and carry them to their destination.
five; i love you. you've said it before or maybe you haven't but now you have to say it again or for the first time.
six; dancing. kick up the music, because it's time to dance! but no lone dancing allowed -- you need to have a partner! you can do whatever dance strikes your fancy. personally, i recommend the slow dance, but you can do whatever you want!
seven; massaging. did your significant other have a rough day? did they get hurt? or do you just feel like doing something really nice for them? whatever it is, you're giving them a nice massage now. they'll feel wonderful in no time!
eight; flirting. the easiest way to break the ice or maybe you're just an overly flirty person.
nine; cuddling. sometimes there's just no better feeling than curling up next to each other on a warm sofa. hold each other, lie next to each other, fall asleep on each other -- it's all good here.
ten; wild card! reroll, pick an option, or come up with something else!

Still, she can't help but continue to disagree with him regarding the blonde. He might see a spunky tomboy, but given the blonde hair and pink outfit she's assuming that the girl's the ditz of the group. Definitely first death material. Though she can't disagree regarding the jock - he's clearly supposed to be the hot, alpha male of the group, but he just comes across as a jerk. It doesn't help that she finds the bookworm more attractive to begin with, since he looks like a model that they just slapped glasses on to make "nerdy". ]
You're just saying that because you're hoping the eye candy will stick around!
[ It's a playful accusation made in jest, with no serious accusation behind it. She doesn't know what his reason for insisting she'll survive it all is - maybe he really thinks she'll make it, maybe he's just being contrary, or maybe there's something else to it - but she's pretty sure it's not just because the girl's hot.
She may be a little insecure in terms of her own attractiveness as a romantic partner, especially in comparison to other women, but that doesn't really apply here. For one, this other girl doesn't even exist. She's a fictional character in a movie, and her actress is probably nothing like her - and lives in another country to boot. And for another, she's the one he's currently pressing into the couch in an effort to get as close to her as possible. Maybe it'd be one thing if he kept staring at the blonde girl on the screen in awe, but Mion seems to be holding most of his attention, and she likes it that way. ]

The eye candy? I just think she's the only one who knows what she's doing. A mindless killer is always going to get overconfident when he sees a girl, so she'll use that against him.
[ Of course, he could be wrong. If the girl starts displaying a snarky side to her personality, her days are probably numbered. But so far, she's stood up for the bookworm and rolled her eyes at the jock. Maybe she's not the glue that holds the team together like Mion is, but the characters also haven't gone through any real difficulties yet. She may very well step up once their car breaks down, which clearly is going to be the first complication that arises.
But he's not paying nearly as much attention to the movie as he is to Mion. As tempting as it is to annoy her further, instead, he starts to pull her in the other direction, away from the cushions and toward him. Come to think of it, it'd be nice to feel her resting on top of him, and they'll be able to see the movie better that way. ]

Maybe it'd be one thing if she knew the girl reminded him of her a little. Then his assertions that she knows what she's doing and can probably outsmart a killer to the extent of being the last one standing would be somewhere between cheesy and flattering, since he'd be implying she could do the same. But as it is, she doesn't read much into his opinion either way. ]
You're assuming the killer's a guy... what if it's another girl who's jealous of all the attention she's getting?
[ Sure, guys are almost always the killers in horror movies unless there's something supernatural going on, but there's always exceptions to the rule. Maybe this movie will be one of them.
Even if they're disagreeing on the characters' fates, that doesn't stop her from wanting to continue snuggling with him. So when he pulls her more towards him, she goes along with his gentle nudging easily. If he wants her to sit or lie on top of him, she won't exactly complain; in fact, she'll go ahead and swing her legs over his, so she can lean in closer and press against him without blocking his view. He's still her boyfriend pillow, after all. ]

But he went into this movie blind, and his gut feeling is to stick with his guns. The movie isn't big-budget enough to seem like it'll have some interesting twist. He might be wrong, but he'll just have to see.
The movie's first official scare happens while they're curled up together, a fakeout that's meant to foreshadow the danger to come. But it comes at a somewhat predictable moment, so she'll be able to feel him tense ever so slightly in his seat, more to steel himself for a legitimately startling moment that doesn't really come. At least, not yet, anyway. ]
Or she could be the killer herself. But I think we both know the football player is gonna kick the bucket pretty quickly. He doesn't even seem interesting enough to keep around for a twist ending.
[ That's not his life experiences before Hinamizawa talking at all, of course. Why, it's preposterous to think that he'd have any reason to wait to write off the popular, successful person who seems to excel at everything he does.
But at least that's in his past, that jealousy of his classmates who got recognition for their hard work while it was just expected of him. And there are no signs of actual bitterness about any of that as he nuzzles his way into her hair. She's more interesting than the movie at this point (and any other), and all they're doing is cuddling. ]
...But if you're wrong and the girl doesn't die first, I think you wearing a sexy maid outfit and obeyong my every command for a night would be a suitable punishment. ♥
[ Just because they're cuddling doesn't mean he stops being a pervert (or competitive). She really shouldn't expect any different from him. ]

In contrast, she knows better than to take his challenge at face value. As it stands, she'd be at a serious disadvantage: he wins if literally anyone else dies first, be it a corpse the group stumbles upon or simply anyone else in their crew, and she only wins if her predicted scenario comes to pass. No way would she take him up on that before evening out the odds. ]
Sure... but only if the football player dies first! I'm not letting you win that easily.
[ It wouldn't be the worst punishment in the world, but for pride's sake she's going to put up a good fight all the same. She'd much rather get to be the one calling the shots and dressing him up, anyway. Or possibly even undressing him. There's still something appealing about the idea of making him do various chores around her apartment in the nude, letting her get as much of an eyeful as she wants...
He's not the only one who can be a pervert in this relationship, after all. ]
And when she kicks the bucket, I'll be looking forward to treating you to an extra-special punishment instead~
[ Either way, she's pretty sure that the first death should be happening sooner or later; there's already been a decent amount of build-up for this horror film, so either people are going to start dropping like flies soon, or they're going to have a long wait. But they can probably keep themselves occupied in the meantime either way. He seems pretty content to bury his face in her hair - he really is obsessed with it - and while she can't exactly kiss him like that, she can at least bring a hand to stroke his hair affectionately in turn as she presses close.
At the end of the day, he's the real entertainment, the movie just an excuse to get some good cuddling time in (and, now, a punishment game). She's pretty sure he could make just sitting on the couch together plenty fun, but at least they have an reason for doing so if anyone asks. ]

It's probably not a good idea to put himself in a position where his loss condition is larger than hers. Unless this is one of those horror movies where the entire cast makes it, someone is going to die, and there are only a few candidates. He'll need to sweeten the deal a little bit for himself, but perhaps he can do it in a way that appeals to her taste for risky gambles, too.
He also has a few other techniques that make her a little more agreeable, of course. So, as his lips just so happen to brush up against her ear (it's close to her hair), his voice takes a much quieter, darker tone, one that carries far more possibilities than his words ever could. ]
That's not exciting, is it? We'll both pick one character. I've obviously picked the girl... if your character dies before she does, your punishment's going to be the most severe one you've ever faced. But if she dies first, and you win...
[ And his voice goes lower for this part. It seems to be a convenient coincidence that the canned, eerie music in the movie is at its most suspenseful moment yet. ]
...Then Mion-sama can do whatever she wants with me for two weeks. ♥
[ Two weeks is serious business. That would give her plenty of time to try out new and exciting punishments, even if a lot of them end up being humiliating. But he's got plenty of ideas himself, so she'd better really hope that she wins if she takes him up on this.
Unless she has some interest in what he's got planned, of course. ]
no subject
Not that he really needs to try and seduce her into being more agreeable, though. Now that the challenge is more even, it's a lot more appealing to agree and see if she can't make him regret bringing it up at all. Two weeks would give her plenty of time to indulge in whatever punishments suit her fancy, both intimate and less-intimate ones. Plus it'd be something she could lord over him for quite a while, which is a reward in and of itself.
There's another appeal to a two-week punishment, though, regardless of what side of it she's on. In order for it to be effective, they'd have to see each other for most, if not all, of the days of those two weeks. With their respective schools and family commitments, that can be easier said than done at times,
So she's definitely taking him up on this little proposal of his. She'll turn in his arms, forcing him away from her ear - though only so that she can lean in close, pressing her forehead to his in a clear challenge. ]
Fine, you're on! But remember, when you're begging for mercy, you asked for it~
[ She sure is acting pretty smug for a contest that's based more on luck and guessing the plot of the movie than any real skill, but that's neither here nor there. All she has to do is pick a character who has better staying power than the girl, and she won't have to eat those words anytime soon. ]
I think I'll pick the bookworm, myself.
[ Which is totally not because of any fondness for smart, kinda awkward guys of her own, but only because a character like that is probably going to wind up being the de facto detective of the group, totally. Usually the detective has pretty good staying power. ]

He grins in satisfaction when her forehead meets his, their intimate face-off a much more affectionate version of the types of challenges they'd issue to one another before they started dating. It just proves that, even with a romantic and physical dimension to their relationship, the things he likes the most about hanging out with her haven't changed a bit.
And, while he's not ever going to admit it, she's really attractive when she's exuding confidence like that. Then again, he also finds her attractive when she's feeling embarrassed and shy, so it could just be that he always thinks she's pretty. ]
You think so, huh? Honestly, he's my second round pick. Let's see what happens.
[ As much as he doesn't want to pull his face away from hers (now would be the perfect time to lock lips, but then they wouldn't concentrate on the movie at all), he turns to face back toward the screen, moving his arm around her to nudge her into leaning into him. He likes serving as a pillow for her. He wouldn't even mind letting her place her head in his lap in even a perfectly chaste manner.
But that'll be up for her to decide. Otherwise, she can just lean her head on his shoulder. Either way, he's comfortable. It's even better that they don't have to worry about a curfew tonight, so she's free to curl up on the couch with him for as long as she's free. ]

So, fine, they can hold off until this matter is settled. At least he's still willing to fulfill his duties as her personal pillow. She'll make sure she scoots in close, legs so close that she might as well swing them across his lap, and leaning her shoulder in against his chest. ]
Sure, sure... just don't cry too hard when she bites it first!
[ She's hoping there's not too much longer to wait before the first murder happens - the introduction is done, they've already had the first jumpscare, and people are starting to spread out due to a lack of genre savviness. The music is tense, too, adding to the drama of waiting for a killing to happen, and that can't go on forever.
Obviously, it's best for her if the girl dies first - but as long as the bookworm doesn't get killed, she'll still be in the game either way. It's who lasts the longest, a fifty-fifty chance. ]
