There’s nothing like watching a movie, is there? It’s a chance to relax and have fun for a few hours. Whether it’s a romantic date with dinner and a movie or an outdoor film festival, it doesn’t matter.

That’s up to you.

[Santana doesn't know why it sounds like she's asking Brittany's permission.

She doesn't understand why she's not more excited]

Well...he's really popular, and kinda hot.

[she shrugs, the pout leaving her lips, and she sits up and puts some distance between them]

[Santana hums, hoping that sounds like an agreement.

He's not too hard on the eyes, but Santana doesn't get the hype about him. He's just another stupid, smelly boy that happens to look better than some of the other losers in their class.]

If you don't want to you can just tell him you're busy. We could have a sleepover.

[she shrugs]

I might go for a little while. [She won't be known as the girl who said no to the 'hottest guy in school'. That would just be stupid.

Whatever, it'll boost her reputation.]

Sleepover after?

[she nods slowly]

Maybe I should try to get a date, too. Quinn says a lot of the guys like me.

[she doesn't sound overly excited, but if dating the football team is what she's supposed to do..]

Who wouldn't like you.

[Santana says honestly, trying to show some enthusiasm]

If things work with Puck, we can double date and stuff...i guess.

[and there's a smile]

We could get ready for dates together and have each other there. That'd be better than going on dates alone.

[and she would feel a lot better having santana there. she always does]

It totally would. [Santana does smile this time. She thinks she'd prefer dates if Brittany was there with her.

Or maybe if it was just Brit-

what. No, she didn't just think that.

She pushes that thought away and forces herself to stay calm]

[she beams at the confirmation.

there's a beat as she looks towards the door.]

I don't think my parents will be back for a long time. If you...want to practice some. For Puck.

[Santana scrunches up her nose] I'm not gonna kiss Puck....yet [She adds as an afterthought.

She bites her lip and shrugs] But...I guess that's not a bad idea, I mean, can't have too much practice, right?

[she watches santana for a moment before getting up and easing herself onto the couch beside her, stretching out and squeezing close so she doesn't fall off]

[Santana shuffles along as best she can to give Brittany room. She kinda regrets wearing shorts again, especially since last time, but Brittany feels warm next to her so she can't find it in herself to complain out loud]

[she...isn't too sure where her hand should go, so she rests it to the back of the couch. she likes being close like this, but she's nervous again that she's going to mess everything up with her words so she stays quiet and keeps her eyes down.]

[Santana bites her lip, brushing her fingertips over Brittany's shirt where her abs are. She can still remember what they feel like...

She reaches for Brittany's hand, hesitating slightly before pressing it to her side, right above the hem of her shirt. It was only fair]

[she lets her hand settle there, a little surprised, and looks at santana. she seems to know what she wants this time around, so brittany just waits]

[Santana gives her a small smile and licks her lips. She tilts her head up and brushes her lips against Brittany's bottom lip]

[she keeps her eyes open for a moment before closing them and letting her teeth lightly scrape santana's top lip]

[Santana kisses back a little harder, taking her hand off Brittany's and puts it on the other girls shoulder instead]

[brittany returns the kiss, sliding her hand up to the back of santana's neck to pull her in closer]

[Santana sighs, digging her fingers into Brittany's shoulder. She's already starting to feel warm, and comfortable, loving the way Brittany's hand curls around her neck]

[she tries not to make any sounds at the feel of santana's grip on her shoulder. instead she focuses on opening her lips more to the kiss and moving her tongue to find santana's.]

[Santana groans, brushing their tongues together. Her thumb brushes against the side of Brittany's neck, and she feels so soft and warm that Santana has a hard time thinking of anything else]

[brittany lets her fingers slide up the back of santana's neck, into her hair as she kisses her back. she wants so badly to move her knee against santana's hip and push her body closer, but she knows she shouldn't. her fingers grip santana's hair tightly as though she's holding on so she won't do anything else.]

[Santana reaches up and gently tugs Brittany's hand away from her hair. She rests it back on the hem of her shirt, and lingers there]
