Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

It's not good to indulge too often.

[ Plus, as Akashi has likely noticed by now, this delicious ramen is very hot and very steamy. His glasses keep fogging up... It doesn't make eating here super convenient. ]

[ Ramen's still kind of healthy though. It's not so bad as fried foods, he thinks. ]

Midorima. [ ... he bites his lower lip to stop himself from showing any amusement. Then he points to his own eye. The glasses............. ]

[ He's not sure whether his vision is worse with the fog or without his glasses... he's at something of an impasse. ]

I can't see any better without them though.

[ Apparently Midorima is practically blind without his glasses if he can mistake people for statues. ]

[ He's not sure what to suggest, then. The steam won't really damage the glasses at least, and it'll evaporate quickly enough. ]

Then it's probably better if you keep them on.

[ By the time Akashi's spoken again, he's already pulling them down on his nose, just to see if he can tell the difference.

Either Akashi is a red blur or a white-fog with a red background. Either way, it's eliciting a frown. ]

Do you prefer I see you as a red blur or fog with a red back-light?

[ Coming from anyone else that might've been seen as a joke, but Midorima is quite serious about it. ]

[ What an odd question. Akashi has no preference when he's not the one looking at himself or anything.

He laughs, setting down his chopsticks. ]

I don't think it matters. Whichever is easier for you.

[ With that he wipes his mouth with his table napkin. Once he's set it down, though, he holds out his hand. He's asking for the glasses. ]

[ He sees the movement and can still tell general limbs from table, of course. Had it been anyone else he would've simply refused, but it's Akashi. He trusts him. Midorima takes them off and folds them, then puts them in Akashi's hand. He had been about to push them back up, but if Akashi wants something with them, he's fine with it for the moment. ]

If you tell me whichever, then ask for them, it's contradictory.

[ And yet he handed them over.. ]

I'm sorry, my curiosity got the best of me.

[ he takes the pair of glasses and puts them on. Immediately, he finds himself squinting because of the change in his vision. Midorima's eyesight is really bad... smh. ]

I can't imagine having your kind of eyesight. Now you just look like a large green dot.

That's what you look like to me right now, but red over black.

[ The black being his glasses. He wonders what Akashi actually looks like right now, but unless Akashi takes a selfie he's likely not going to find out beyond his imagination. He's not even trying to squint, he knows it won't serve to do anything but give him a vision headache if he tries that for too long. ]

[ Akashi removes the glasses and carefully places it back where Midorima can reach for it. Hopefully it doesn't fall over and the person passing by doesn't step on it. ]

Have you ever considered wearing contact lenses?

I have, but it's a lot of time wasted on them and they're too dangerous to wear during basketball.

[ The pros were more cosmetic than not in his opinion. He had gotten used to his face with glasses many years over. Though really he should be wearing basketball glasses but those don't look great as soon as he's sure Akashi is done, those glasses are back on his face. ]

You don't have to wear them all the time.

[ The contacts, he means. But he laughs, realising that he probably sounds bossy. ]

It was just a thought.

[ It seems like the temperature difference has cleared up a little better, helped by the movement of trading the glasses around the table, since most of the fog seems to have cleared up. So Midorima can look Akashi in the eyes when he speaks again, though he looks down at his bowl instead, taking a bite before he answers. ]

I like them. I go to glasses stores at my leisure to look at new frames as well. [ Though he never buys anything new, but he likes looking at them and trying them on... You can't do that with contacts, he'd be out a hobby... ]

[ What kind of hobby is that... it's a good thing Akashi doesn't judge too much. ]

Do you have multiple frames, then? Maybe you should have one for every day of the week.

I have a spare pair of these, and a few pairs of sunglasses.

[ It's probably weirder that he doesn't have many even though he likes to go to the stores... ]

[ At least Midorima has a pair of prescription sunglasses! Those are handy especially for the visually impaired. ]

But they're the same style.

[ Akashi lets out a light laugh. ]

Don't mind me. I just found the idea of different glasses each day amusing.

[ He goes back to eating now. ]

[ The spares are though, he's right. ]

I'll take you sometime so I can actually see what you look like in glasses. I'll try on a few different ones.

[ Since he.. really couldn't, even if it was right here in front of him. He takes a bite after he says that. Not today, of course. Their plans are already set. ]

I'd actually like to know what sort of glasses would look good on me. It's decided, then. We'll visit a store some time when we get together again.

[ A store in Kyoto, it looks like. Akashi would take Midorima to the various gardens and some historical places, but an optical shop can be squeezed in.

Yes, Akashi's already planning the itinerary now.

He goes back to eating soon after, not intending on letting his food get cold. ]

[ Midorima has no idea Akashi is already planning to take him to some, and is meanwhile thinking of ranking the top glasses stores within walking distance of the train station. There's a lot to be considered. He's been to plenty of them, so he has enough information to decide. But he'll do it later when he has something to write with. ]

I would think wires or rimless would be the best place to start looking.

[ Just, objectively. His expertise in glasses says so!! ]

I'll have to see for myself, then. [ But he trusts Midorima. He'll probably look nice in those. ]

Why did you choose thick rectangular frames?

[accurately]

I have what's known as a heart-shaped face. [ It sounds embarrassing, but that's what they call broad forehead, high cheekbones, and a narrow chin!! ] Rectangle frames tend to be wider than the forehead and details on the bottom help to balance my face shape. The thick frames help draw attention away from my eye lashes.

[ Because he has really pretty, long eyelashes, on top and bottom.. Apparently there is some kind of science to this he's decided on. ]

Your eyelashes?

[ Akashi's never really paid any attention to them before but he looks at Midorima's eyes properly now. ]

Oh, you do have long lashes. [ That's very pretty!

He goes back to eating after stating his observation, looking pleased with himself for noticing. ]

You just noticed?

[ That's even worse than he thought for not being noticed, they're really obvious compared to most people!! He at least thought his looks were noticeable, even with glasses. Does Akashi not like glasses? Is that why he wanted him to wear contacts before he said he liked glasses? Midorima honestly hates how Akashi seems to be the only person who can make him feel self-conscious about things. ]

I don't stare at people that much.

[ And even if Akashi is conversing with someone and looking them in the eye, he only pays attention to the more important details. Their way of breathing, for example, how they speak -- you know! Normal things. :) ]

You could stare a little more to recognize basic facial features of your friends, Akashi.
