There have been several cases where a TLH meme has been deleted after it was advertised here, leaving behind a link that goes nowhere.

Now I don't know if they have been deleted by a TLH mod because they broke the rules of that comm or because the meme maker felt it wasn't popular enough, or for some other reason.

We were asked to (temporarily) ban TLH meme ads here because of this issue. I rather put up a warning first.

If you advertise TLH (or other off-comm) memes on Bakerstreet, do not delete them on a whim. We will ban journals that are guilty of such a habit.

We will consider forbidding ads altogheter, as well, if it continues.
