meh.

- Comment with your character.
- Write preferences, if you got them.
- Write one place your character would really love to travel to.
- Respond to other people.
Prompts:
- Go to MapCrunch and hit go. That's where you are. Is that where you want to go?
- Your vehicle just broke down. What now?
- You're trying to get aboard that one vehicle, but the owner apparently needs some convincing to give you a ride. Paying for a ticket or just hitchhiking? Your call.
- You're stowing away in someone else's vehicle and hope you won't get caught. But you just were.
- You're at a rest stop or roadside tourist attraction. You meet the most interesting people at these places, don't you?
- You're seeing flashing lights in your rear view mirror or the closest equivalent thereof. Looks like someone ran a red light or was driving faster than the speed limit. What now?

And I don't have any preference! I'm also voice-testing Sieg! ]

[Jeanne is the navigator, so she gets to hold the map. Also, being a Ruler doesn't automatically grant her the riding skill, oops.]
The Sainte-Chapelle isn't very far now. But where do you want to go, Sieg? Paris is a very big place.

[ The question doesn't quite catch him off-guard as it is an expected surprise. Is that the right turn of phrase? Maybe. It's that he expects Jeanne to ask him where he would like to go; what he would like to do. That is what he's come to understand of her and her consideration of him. He can't muse too much on the question as he is the driver. Knowledge given to him by the Holy Grail is one thing; still, being created in the modern age made trusting the machine known as a car easier. So he said to himself. It was something that he never experienced before, either. No, everything was "something" that he had never experienced before: driving, road trip, being asked where he would like to go. It wasn't so much dizzying as it was a tightening feeling in his chest -- it was an emotion that he couldn't put into words. It was not quite "gratitude" but extended past that emotion. ]
Um. [ Sieg says, at first, hands easy on the wheel. He trusts the machine that was created in this world, too. It may not be sentient, but it is trustworthy. ] Where do I want to go. [ He repeats the words, as he tries to convey everything he thinks just now and feels like he isn't quite able to do so. ] It is much bigger than the last city we visited. [ He agrees before pressing his lips together, thoughtfully. ] I just want to go with you. Where it is... I don't really mind. [ Yes, that's what he means to say. ] Is that all right?

Not to mention, Jeanne also had her share of strange new feelings. Feelings that she still had to get used to, but which nonetheless had to be accepted as part of her now, especially with Sieg beside her.
She watches with fascination as he drives and answers her.
"I just want to go with you."
It was as if an entire group of butterflies was released into Jeanne's stomach, and she blushes. This was definitely different from Gilles de Rais pledging to ally himself with her.]
Y-Yes. That's all right. We could even stop by a cafe before the Sainte-Chapelle. [She glances at her watch. Maybe they could have lunch first.]

No, he wants to be able to say that he's walking with her instead. The wording is different, but he understands some of the connotation with it. Because it means that no one is in control of the other. ]
A cafe. [ Sieg repeats the two words and already hears his stomach growl. ] That would be... a good idea. What is it that you said? An army marches on its stomach, right?
no subject
At Sieg's words, Jeanne chuckles softly.]
That's right. I don't think it only applies to armies. [She looks at her map and traces a route on it.] Oh, turn left on the next corner.

It's different being out like this. [ Sieg does want to look around more at his surroundings, but ah, he probably should keep his eyes on the road. ] This is the sort of freedom that you both were talking about, isn't it?
[ A small tilt of his head before he reaches the aforementioned corner. He turns left as instructed earlier, and smiles a little to himself. ]
