I'd support us. It won't be the exact kind of lifestyle you're accustom to, but I'd make sure we're comfortable...

Feels like this is that moment I'm supposed to reveal to you I'm an absolutely terrible cook. Just... horrific, really.

[ Wouldn't that be nice? Not only knowing they didn't waste all this time and effort planning this wedding, but y'know, that they could be possible of fostering a marriage built on love and respect and understanding. That they could be partners. Nice dream. ]

Did you forget to put the lid on the blender?

[ Her tone casual, just sort of going about her business stealing bites of his food. There might be a little bit of footsie goin' on under the table just because she can. ]

It's all right, we'll just have to keep Alfred on, I guess. What's one more diamond heist? You'll find other ways of pleasing me.

[ Sounds a little optimistic, you know! Maybe even impossible! But then again, that's kind of what Bruce is known for, isn't it? Doing the impossible?

But her question is enough to get Bruce to make a little pained face because... yes. That is what happened. He's not going to say it out loud but his face gives everything away.

[ He does the impossible, she always gets what she wants, and she... really wants this. Him. Even if it means she's sitting in a Denny's in the middle of the night eating bad pancakes.

Which is where most of Selina's attention has turned for the moment. (On her own plate, this time!) She glances up from the plate, unable to suppress the teasing little smile that gets. ]
