body heat meme

Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

Take the cushions off the couch. [ he instructs, gesturing to the floor in front of the fireplace. yes, frank castle intends to make a blanket fort. ]

as he comes back seconds later she smiles softly hearing his instructions while tilting her head to the side a bit. ] Are we making a blanket fort? [ she almost seems in disbelief that he of all people intends to make a blanket fort. without hesitation she grabs the cushions off the couch. ]

he drapes the first blanket over the couch so it cascades down over the table and their pillows, beginning to form a tent. he has her help him with the next blanket since it's much wider and easier handled by two people. he used to do this with frank jr. for a second the memory is so vivid it freezes him in place. ]

watching as he takes care of the first blanket, she grabs the other which is wider than the first. there were a few times she had done this with her boys back home, however it was more uncle tig's department than her own. tars notes the momentary lapse of movement coming from Frank suddenly. ]
Frank?

Junior, Lisa and me used to make forts like this.

Shit, Frank I’m sorry.
no subject
I'm sorry too. [ that she had to abandon her kids. he's not sure he would have the strength to do that. actually, he knows he wouldn't. sometimes he feels close to going back to her town and killing them all, but it isn't his place. ]

I know. [ it's a spoken whisper as she bows her head down slightly, hiding her face for a mere moment as if calming herself. her hand doesn't cease moving though, still rubbing along the back of his neck. did she regret her decision in leaving her boys behind? of course, but in the end it kept them safe and that's what mattered to her. ]

trouble is, he knows she does too. it would be so much simpler if it were her fault, but it isn't. ] You'll get them back. When the time is right.

his words are soothing and honestly she hopes he's right, but as long as Gemma was alive and well she knew she'd never get her boys back. ] Yeah.

It wouldn't accomplish anything, Frank. [ it would though, they both knew it and she had a feeling that he knew there were times she wanted to ask him to just go to charming and end those miserable excuses for humans. so her boys would be safe and sound. her hand slips down his neck and moves along his upper back. ]

[ the corners of her lips curl up in a soft smile. he was trying to be a regular person and while he wasn't the best at it, she loved that he was still trying. ]
no subject
Are you? [ happy ]
no subject
I am. [ there was no hesitation. she was genuinely happy with him. ] Are you?
no subject
Yeah. [ or what passes for it in his sphere, anyway. he presses his forehead against hers and just stays like that for a long moment. ]
no subject
Good. [ it comes out in a whisper as he presses his forehead against her own, causing her eyes to fall closed as they remain that way. ]

Are you warm enough?
no subject
Yeah, yeah I am. Are you?
