body heat meme

Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

Shit, Frank I’m sorry.

I'm sorry too. [ that she had to abandon her kids. he's not sure he would have the strength to do that. actually, he knows he wouldn't. sometimes he feels close to going back to her town and killing them all, but it isn't his place. ]

I know. [ it's a spoken whisper as she bows her head down slightly, hiding her face for a mere moment as if calming herself. her hand doesn't cease moving though, still rubbing along the back of his neck. did she regret her decision in leaving her boys behind? of course, but in the end it kept them safe and that's what mattered to her. ]

trouble is, he knows she does too. it would be so much simpler if it were her fault, but it isn't. ] You'll get them back. When the time is right.

his words are soothing and honestly she hopes he's right, but as long as Gemma was alive and well she knew she'd never get her boys back. ] Yeah.

It wouldn't accomplish anything, Frank. [ it would though, they both knew it and she had a feeling that he knew there were times she wanted to ask him to just go to charming and end those miserable excuses for humans. so her boys would be safe and sound. her hand slips down his neck and moves along his upper back. ]

[ the corners of her lips curl up in a soft smile. he was trying to be a regular person and while he wasn't the best at it, she loved that he was still trying. ]

Are you? [ happy ]
no subject
I am. [ there was no hesitation. she was genuinely happy with him. ] Are you?
no subject
Yeah. [ or what passes for it in his sphere, anyway. he presses his forehead against hers and just stays like that for a long moment. ]
no subject
Good. [ it comes out in a whisper as he presses his forehead against her own, causing her eyes to fall closed as they remain that way. ]

Are you warm enough?
no subject
Yeah, yeah I am. Are you?

The power should go out more often. Who needs all that shit anyway?
no subject
We can just keep the lights off. [ a soft tease as she smiles. ]

No complaints here. [ frank thrived in the dark. off the grid. but that wasn't exactly surprising. ]
no subject
Figured you wouldn't have any. Just remember I'm a huge klutz in the dark. [ she wanted to make it a joke, but lets face it she tended not to do too well in the dark. unlike her partner beside her who could maneuver in the dark blindfolded. ]

[ frank moves all the way down to the base of her spine, pausing there a moment before working just as slowly back up, taking a moment to trace her throat and collarbone before his fingers move right back down again. this time, they deftly maneuver up under the hem of her shirt, pressing against warm flesh. ]

tara's head is still bowed as his hand reaches the base of her spine, while he slowly works his way back up she slowly brings her head back up and leans into the touch when frank takes that moment to work his fingers along her throat. when his fingers slip under the hem of her shirt she tilts her head to the side looking at him. her own fingers easing up his abdomen tenderly. ]
