Helsing is not thrilled about this, but the vampire's faster. She's still complaining when the doorbell rings.

Two police officers stand on the porch. If they are alarmed to be faced with a kitten-wielding vampire, their faces do not show it. (Though the smell of them might tell otherwise.)
