Intimacy is the glue of any relationship, albeit romantic or friendship. It's getting to the root of humanity, and expanding upon ourselves and letting others in.

Rules:
1. Post with your character.
2. Go to rng and roll from 1-6.
3. Post to others.
4. Profit

Scenes:
1. First Kiss. Maybe you've been harboring feelings or maybe this is random. But it feels good to be that close to someone.

2. Love Confession. You have been head over heels for this person and now it's time to try and get close to them.

3. Secrets. You've been hiding yourself from someone and now it's time to stop. They need to know the real you.

4. First Time. First time you have sex is always nerve racking, but it's in these moments that you show how much you truly care about someone.

5. Shower. Perhaps you've been together for awhile. Maybe you've told each other everything. Maybe you're just dirty and need to get cleaned up. But letting the water flow between two people is still pretty intimate.

6. Post-Coital Bed. Do you feel talkative after sex? Want to ponder the meaning of life / if you guys are more than a one-night stand? Better to do it after the deed probably.. at least your partner will be in a good mood?

7. Road Trip. Good for that bonding experiance you never had! Bad diner food and weird landmarks you never knew you wanted to see! Will it bring you closer to your friend / lover?

8. Drunk. Are you the happy or sad kind? Clingy, or flighty? Maybe you just need a hug, to snuggle close.. to whoever's around at the time!

9. Winter. What could be a better time to curl up with a book, or exchange soft words in the glow of the fire? Hot chocolate time!

10. Free verse. Did I leave something out? Want to combine? Make up your own or pick from the others.

"Keep it low-key tomorrow," she said.

He nodded again. "I'm going to head to bed soon."

"That's fine," she said. "I could use the sleep too."

John finished his tea. "Want me to wash the mugs?"

"Sure," she said, finishing hers up and handing it over to him.

He went into the kitchen to wash everything.

She moved into the bedroom to take off her clothes and slip on a tshirt before going to wash up for bed.

By the time he went to her bedroom, she was already washing up so he changed and waited for her to finished in the bathroom.

She came out, her hair up in a ponytail.

"You could have come in," she said when she saw him there.

"Oh," he said. "I'll remember that for next time." He went into the bathroom past her.

She smacked his butt lightly on the way by before she got into bed.

He huffed out a laugh and went to brush his teeth.

She got under the covers and waited for him.

[gcpd]

He turned out all the lights before getting under the covers and pulling them up.

She moved closer to him.

"Thanks for letting me drag you all over today," she said.

'You're welcome." He kissed her face in the dark.

She sighed and closed her eyes, her arm coming to rest on his waist.

It was around tree in the morning when there was a loud knock at Ariadne's door. Eames was on the other side, clutching his upper arm.

She woke with a start at the noise, confused. It was only when it came again that she realized someone was pounding on her door.

Her first instinct was to grab the handgun from her nightstand.

John slept through the knocking. He was exhausted both from the sightseeing and the jetlag. He rolled over though when Ariadne woke up.

She looked at John as she took the gun and headed toward the front door. She peaked through the peep hole and was surprised to see Eames. She unlocked the door and opened it then.

"Eames? What are you doing here?" she asked in a loud whisper. She hadn't seen the Forger in probably close to a year.

It was then that she saw him holding his arm.

"Don't worry. Made sure no one followed me here." He walked into her apartment. "I was on a job. Got shot by one of the mark's bodyguards who thought ht'e graced us with his presence." He gave her a tight smile.

She looked out in the hallway just to be sure before she closed the door and locked it tight. She left her gun on the table where her keys were before going over to him.

"Well, let me look at it," she said, nodding to his arm.

Eames sat down on her couch before tentatively removing his jacket and shirt with a few hisses and moans.

"Ari?" John stood there in the doorway of her bedroom, looking at the strange man undressing and then at her. His expression changed from confusion to anger in under a second. "What the hell's going on?"

"Arthur! And Ariadne?" Eames smirked. "I didn't know you had it in you, man. Good job."

Her head whipped around when she heard John's voice, caught like a deer for a moment, not even sure what to say.

"It's not what it looks like," she said. "He's been shot."

Her protests went unheard though because Eames was suddenly talking over her and she was turning a deep shade of red. Shit. She'd pretty much forgotten how closely John resembled Arthur. He was such a different person.

"That's not Arthur," she mumbled.
