Intimacy is the glue of any relationship, albeit romantic or friendship. It's getting to the root of humanity, and expanding upon ourselves and letting others in.

Rules:
1. Post with your character.
2. Go to rng and roll from 1-6.
3. Post to others.
4. Profit

Scenes:
1. First Kiss. Maybe you've been harboring feelings or maybe this is random. But it feels good to be that close to someone.

2. Love Confession. You have been head over heels for this person and now it's time to try and get close to them.

3. Secrets. You've been hiding yourself from someone and now it's time to stop. They need to know the real you.

4. First Time. First time you have sex is always nerve racking, but it's in these moments that you show how much you truly care about someone.

5. Shower. Perhaps you've been together for awhile. Maybe you've told each other everything. Maybe you're just dirty and need to get cleaned up. But letting the water flow between two people is still pretty intimate.

6. Post-Coital Bed. Do you feel talkative after sex? Want to ponder the meaning of life / if you guys are more than a one-night stand? Better to do it after the deed probably.. at least your partner will be in a good mood?

7. Road Trip. Good for that bonding experiance you never had! Bad diner food and weird landmarks you never knew you wanted to see! Will it bring you closer to your friend / lover?

8. Drunk. Are you the happy or sad kind? Clingy, or flighty? Maybe you just need a hug, to snuggle close.. to whoever's around at the time!

9. Winter. What could be a better time to curl up with a book, or exchange soft words in the glow of the fire? Hot chocolate time!

10. Free verse. Did I leave something out? Want to combine? Make up your own or pick from the others.

"That isn't Arthur," she insisted as she followed Eames and turned on the light. "The first time I saw him I thought it was too, but look closer."

She grabbed a clean hand towel and pressed it against the bleeding wound at his shoulder.

"You're shitting me right?" Eames asked incredulously.

She shook her head, looking totally serious before she averted her gaze to his wound as she lifted the towel off.

"I was on a job in Gotham," she said. "I saw him on the street. I thought he was Arthur too at first."

She went and wet the towel in order to try to clean the blood away.

"It looks like the bullet went straight through. I'll just have to stitch you up."

"Gotham?" Eames made a face at the name.

John walked in with the kit and set it down on the dining table. He looked intently at the two and Eames looked back at him in challenge.

She rolled her eyes as she continued to clean the would.

"Thank you," she said, looking over at John apologetically.

"John this is Eames, an old work colleague, Eames, this is my boyfriend John," she said before putting the towel down and grabbing some alcohol towels out of the kit.

"Wait till Arthur hears you're dating his doppleganger," Eames mused aloud. John stared him down but Eames didn't back off.

She sighed as she cleaned his wounds with the alcohol, hoping it burned like hell.

"I doubt Arthur will really care," she said. "It's not like we ever dated or anything."

She said that last part more for John's sake than anything else.

Eames hissed loudly when the alcohol touches his skin. "Jesus - fucking- "

John tried to keep his satisfied smile from showing.

"You never dated, sure, doesn't mean I didn't notice you giving him the glad eye."

She put the used swabs on the table before rummaging around for the suturing kit.

"Yeah, so? Arthur's attractive," she said with a shrug. "But I don't want to be with him. I want to be with John."

She looked up at John when she said that.

John looked at her and then away, his arms crossing over his chest.

"And what does John do for a living?"

She looked down and focused on what she was doing.

"I don't think that's any of your business," she said to Eames as she prepared to start the first stitch.

She figured the less Eames knew about John the better, but it was really John's call.

"I'm going back to bed," John said after a moment. He was satisfied in the fact that Ariadne wasn't going behind his back, but he still felt like an outsider. She and Eames were the people he was fighting against and it only made him feel cold.

"So he's not in the business then," Eames said after John left.

"Okay," she said and looked at him apologetically again before going back to what she was doing.

"No," she said. "But he knows I am."

"Listen, once my last job dies down, I might have something lined up if you're interested," Eames said.

"Maybe," she said with a shrug as she moved to stitch up the exit wound.

[gcpd]

"Arthur's already signed up for running point," he added nonchalantly, but he eyed her as he said this.

She just rolled her eyes.

"And I'm sure you'd just love to see the two of us back together now," she said as she put bandages on the stitched up wounds.

"What can I say? I'm a sucker for romance." He said with a smirk.

"Don't be an ass Eames," she said. "There is no romance."

[gcpd]

"Maybe if you both would just get off your high horses, you'd be more than making the glad eye at each other." Eames straightened once she finished with the stitches.

"This isn't a discussion Eames," she said. "I love John. And if your whole reason for asking me on this job is to try to get Arthur and I together, then you can just forget it."

[gcpd]

"Alright, alright. Don't say I didn't try." He went to go fetch his shirt and jacket in the living room.

She cleaned up the mess he'd left behind, throwing the blood-soaked towel into the trash and everything else with it.

"Thanks," Eames said, turning to her. "I heard through the vine that you were back in Paris."

"Yeah? From who?" she asked.
