THE ALIENS MEME

People always wondered if there was intelligent life out there beyond our solar system. Well lucky us, there is. But take away the lucky part and we're left with an alien race that wants nothing more than to use our bodies as incubators for their babies. If not out right kill us. They're intelligent and adapt to situations to overcome what is thrown at them and will do everything to find you. Once they do, who can say what will happen. 
 

Either way. You're going to die. 

Unless you can escape.

HERE'S WHAT TO DO:

• Post with your character (name and fandom in the subject).
• Other people reply and they become your 'team' the survivors trying to escape.
• Work together, or don't, to outsmart the Xenomorphs (the aliens).
• You will also run into these little suckers, and if they catch you they'll cling to your face, implanting an alien baby inside you. Have fun with that. They're hard to get off as their tail wraps around your throat, usually to knock the victim out to make them easier to handle.
• Get to an escape pod on the ship you're on, or blow up the ship. Maybe you all die. Either way, have fun!

[ When it came to various forms of alien life, David had little fear of them. Maybe it was because he didn't feel fear (or wasn't supposed to). Even if he did, he was useless to them being an inorganic thing incapable of gestating their spawn. However, they could tear him apart and that was why he needed to ensure at least one human made it out alive. Naturally, he chose the one with the best chance of survival. He was unarmed when he approached her, after all, no-one instructed him to take up arms of any sort. ]

Ma'am, your best chance for survival is the escape pod.

Okay, so..... they're huge, bladed tails, teeth, exoskeletons, they speak in horrible screaming noises, and they bleed acid.

[Oh god there are not enough walls in the world to put between the humans and these things. At least the face-grabbing little scorpion buggers you can stomp on, but their parents? There isn't a boot big enough...]

[ So you know what really isn't a good idea when you're fighting an anemy that has acid for blood? Fighting them with swords. Not only do you have to get in pretty close, but unless you're swords are magically acid resistant you're gonna have to swing those things much harder, this makes them slice faster which generally avoids getting too much acid on them. The downside of this strategy is that swinging your swords harder, makes you tired much quicker. So when Rose barrels around a corner and almost smashes straight into you Natasha, try not to get too angry, she's pretty tired.

Suit torn, bleeding from a few lacerations and the inevitable acid burns, and her one good sword not looking in the best of shape, the Ravager looked just about ready to keel over. Still, catching sight of the other woman, she skidded to a halt, sword held point down in as non-threatening a stance as she could assume. ]

[It was that colony all over again. But this time there weren't a group of marines with them. Hicks had been prepared of course, and Ripely was always wary, so there were safe guards set in motion on the ship, guns and ammunition, but that wasn't important right now.

Bishop knew he had to find Rebecca. Newt. She had always been the most important thing, since the beginning. So when he does find her, Bishop doesn't waste anytime, grabbing for her arm to pull her into a nearby room and hitting the button to close and lock the door.]

Also, the armor has energy shields, which means no acid. You should really think about investing in research in that tech, Mr. Stark.

Still, at the moment when the half ton of battle armor and angry Spartan step in front of you, effectively blocking the doorway, you should have a good opportunity to see the shields at work. ]

Steve's shield is intact but acid has burned off the paint in a lot of places. There's a spattering of holes in the arms of his uniform. It took him three hours to make it between his apartment and the tower, trying to tuck panicking civilians away in any safe place he could find along the route and dodging the monsters that reared up from the depths in the process.

The subways were a no go, absolutely infested, swarms of the little face-grabbing creatures trickling out every once in a while, but he'd managed to bring something useful from the journey.

He drops a severed black arm onto the work table with a thunk, it's acid blood is mostly drained now so it shouldn't burn through... right away.

"Got this to work with at least."

She's lost the creature, it's fled off into the vents to lick its wounds, and she's gripping what's left of her right hand.]
