Whether your room is just disheveled or totally trashed, you may or may not remember anything that happened last night. Are you surprise married? If so, do you even know the person you're married to? Maybe you stole some exotic animal that you really shouldn't have. Maybe you fell asleep face down in a pool and had to be fished out. Maybe you had any number of hi-jinks while you were out of your mind (whether on booze or something else), it doesn't matter. You appear to have not gotten arrested (yet), so try to figure out what's happened! • Top level your character. Include any details you might think are relevant. Or don't. [When Josh sits up, shaken into consciousness out of a dream featuring way-too-bright lights and what he's pretty sure was Hell's answer to Barry Manilow, he notices a few things that are, at first, puzzling.

Like: the unfamiliar scenery of a hotel room in shambles, the sight of the Vegas strip looking metallic and fake in the morning sun through the window, the poker chip stuck to his cheek (and the chip stuck to his arm, and his side, and — ), and the guy asleep on the bed a few feet away, clutching in his arms —

Something familiar.

Josh rubs a knuckle into one eye and squints.

Realization hits him at the same time the hangover does, with just as much force. It stabs its way into his forehead, right between his eyes, and makes him flop back onto the space on the floor he'd been occupying with a low groan.

That's Toby's notebook. That's Toby Ziegler's notebook. The notebook belonging to the White House Communications Director. The notebook containing Kuzco's poison Toby's notes on the next State of the Union.

Here's the problem: Josh is pretty sure Toby's not in Vegas.

Josh is pretty sure he couldn't get Toby to Vegas without tranquilizing him and loading his body onto a plane.

So why is his notebook here? Without him? Thousands of miles from Washington?

Josh hiccups nervously, tasting a mix of champagne and bourbon and something sweet, and rolls onto his stomach... onto Toby's bag, which is full of poker chips.

And he thinks: Oh, God. I'm dead. I'm a dead man.]

Competitive. Flirtatious, even if he's not really sure how to be when he's sober. Prone, on blessedly rare occasion, to losing his clothes and abusing his dance skills and waking up with his belt stuffed full of twenties and no idea who put them there, which is the only part of it that he didn't get too directly from his father, or at least he really hopes he didn't.)]

[But right now, he's got no memory whatsoever of last night, and even the sunlight from behind his eyelids is enough to make him whine, turn over, and feel a little nauseous about the movement involved in turning over. He'd go right back to sleep just to put off worrying about What Drunk Yuuri Did for another few hours, honestly, if it weren't for the unsettling sense he has that something isn't right, and that wherever he is, he's not alone there...]

Which is to say his head's been hurting a while as he remained staring at the ceiling, immobile.

The last time anything like this ever happened to him was in college, but those're the glory years, aren't they? He's expectsd to drink, to lose some control and cognitive brain power; he couldn't help the natural course of life. But now, in his late twenties, being an adult and a paper salesman--this is just ridiculous, the fact his boss was the one who insisted the branch employees take this damn trip at all notwithstanding.

Hangovers, Jim is used to. Sure. Waking up beside a stranger? Not really. A man? Well...

He'd been fine with being frozen. He and his bedmate were in a position that made Jim escaping without jostling him a little practically impossible--not like he could be particularly agile with his aching head, anyway. But then the guy turned, their arms pressing together, and God okay Jim can't really lie passively any more. ]
