THE HANGOVER MEME

So. You went to Vegas. Cool! You had a great time. You think. Surely you must have, because you have a raging hangover. Whether your room is just disheveled or totally trashed, you may or may not remember anything that happened last night. Are you surprise married? If so, do you even know the person you're married to? Maybe you stole some exotic animal that you really shouldn't have. Maybe you fell asleep face down in a pool and had to be fished out. Maybe you had any number of hi-jinks while you were out of your mind (whether on booze or something else), it doesn't matter. You appear to have not gotten arrested (yet), so try to figure out what's happened!

[Ardyn woke up with a head that felt like a dead weight. No. It felt like someone had smacked him with a dead weight. His eyes were blurry and his mouth was so dry.]

Oh, my...I feel awful-

[He got up and realised he was naked. Oh gods. This wasn't normal for him. He wore some clothes in bed. Also, he wasn't alone. There was a girl next to him.]

[Oh, god.]

[Yuuri tries not to drink that much, he really does. Aside from the strict diet that keeping in competitive shape requires, he's... he's aware of how he gets when he drinks. (Impulsive. Over the top. Competitive. Flirtatious, even if he's not really sure how to be when he's sober. Prone, on blessedly rare occasion, to losing his clothes and abusing his dance skills and waking up with his belt stuffed full of twenties and no idea who put them there, which is the only part of it that he didn't get too directly from his father, or at least he really hopes he didn't.)]

[But right now, he's got no memory whatsoever of last night, and even the sunlight from behind his eyelids is enough to make him whine, turn over, and feel a little nauseous about the movement involved in turning over. He'd go right back to sleep just to put off worrying about What Drunk Yuuri Did for another few hours, honestly, if it weren't for the unsettling sense he has that something isn't right, and that wherever he is, he's not alone there...]

[Methinks a performance afterparty got a little out of hand.]

[Dull ache slowly rises along with Ignis, the moment he opens his eyes and barely collects any memories from last night as his head feels like breaking in two. A quick glimpse through the shut curtains, though, is enough to realize morning was long gone by now and that the two had overslept.

Indeed, he had promised the Glaive a night out and, as the man of word he was, he obliged. And what a night, as Crowe was sharing the bed with him, light sheets covering her slender frame and fast asleep. Ignis wouldn't dare waking her up just yet, her usual serious expression now endearingly peaceful.

Instead, as he brings the best of him to gather back his thoughts, a hand brushes lightly over the brunette's loose hair.]

[ and not just any young woman either, but a glaive who was somewhat incapacitated due to the amount she had to drink. foolishly. last night was full of poor decisions after a celebration, letting loose after a day of hard work. wandering here and there, from pub to dive bar, crowe certainly did not expect to wake up next to ....

this. but she is still asleep, very much naked and clinging to the last bit of her slumber. ]

[Ardyn pushed his wine-coloured tresses from his dishevelled face and stretched out a little.]

It could be worse I suppose.

[He noticed she was still asleep and this caused him to run a hand along her back until it reached her pert behind. He squeezed one of her buttocks softly and pressed a soft kiss to the side of her neck.]

[ she has learned not to underestimate ignis in any capacity, in battle, in the bedroom – when he had promised her a good time, and good times are rarer these days, she simply raised her eyebrows and followed him down the street, hooking her arm through his.

she remains on her stomach, one arm curled to her side, the other laying across his middle. she snores very, very lightly, interrupted by a sigh that follows the small touch of his hand, hair pushed away from her cheek. her cheek is pressed to the pillow, facing him with her eyes still closed. there are no wrinkles to her brow, no frown on her lips.

ever so slowly, crowe stirs, rolling to her side and away from the window where the sun peeks intrusively through a slit in the curtains. ] Shit, [ she grumbles, breaking her peaceful facade as one eye cracks open. her head throbs, but at least she can at least see the outline of a familiar face. ]

[ laying flat on her stomach with her arms curled around a pillow, crowe's face remains turned away from her bed mate, eyes now squeezed shut as she comes to. the events of last night are fuzzy at best but she remembers very clearly what happened right before sleep, which had a lot to do with using her teeth and digging her fingernails into skin.

she groans out of irritation. ]

Stop.

[Ardyn ceased his movements and laid back onto the soft pillows once more. His head was so painful. How much did he have to drink last night? Even thought he was immortal it seemed he had drunk enough to cause some damage to his body.]

It seems last night we....engaged in certain activities.

[He rubbed his temple whilst moving his head slowly to gaze at her.]

[ her instincts tell her to get a move on, throw her clothes on, and get herself the hell out of this bedroom. but her body rejects each and every notion to exert any physical energy, leaving her frowning and turning her head so he could see that on her face. ]

You're using delicate language now? [ crowe snorts, half amused. ] I bit you.

It is the usual tongue I speak with regarding certain situations.

[He just loves the sound of his own voice. That's just it. Looking down at his chest and shoulders he noticed the bite marks. What went on last night?]

It seems you are right. Was it that passionate that we resorted to biting one another? Do you also bare bite marks on your body?
