MEME'S ANATOMY

MEME'S + ANATOMY
it's bakerstreet hospital
This meme was a request from Anon You're in a hospital, and it could be for any number of reasons. Are you the patient, sick, injured or needing surgery? Are you visiting someone who is? Are you the victim of a crime that has left you requiring medical attention in the ER, or was it just some really bad sushi? Are you a doctor or a surgeon examining a patient before or after treatment, or having a chat with a colleague in the cafeteria or staff room? Or are you a caring nurse tending to your patients, or a not-so-caring nurse who really wishes they chose becoming a rockstar rather than handing out bed pans? Maybe you're just the janitor who bumps into patients in the hall, or the impatient ward clerk answering telephones? Or do you suddenly find yourself in hospital and sharing a room with a patient you have no choice but to strike up a conversation with? Whatever it is, you decide. You pick your hospital role, and taggers pick theirs that set the scene for why you are coming to interact together in a hospital. If you're not comfortable playing a doctor, nurse or medical professional, pick any of the other scenarios. There are numerous ways two people could be interacting in a hospital. Alternatively, if you are okay playing medical staff, your muse doesn't need to be such in canon for you to give it a go here. AU at it's best, as always. Scenes can be serious, drama, cracky, fluffy, or maybe you're a naughty doctor and nurse who has a favourite janitor's closet to utilise? The Baker Street Hospital world is your oyster... RULES: + Leave a comment with your character's name, fandom, and any preferences you have. + Posters, in the comment box, state which hospital role you prefer to be in, whether it be patient, visitor, doctor, nurse, staff, etc. Be specific if you wish, especially as to ailment or type of medical professional or staff you are so people can know who they are tagging accordingly. Feel free to list more than one potential role if you're open to options and variety. + Taggers, you choose your own role to tag with in response. You may prefer to just pick yourself, select from the options below, or use the RNG for a number between 1 and 28 to choose for you. + Please don't make yourself an unconscious patient... for obvious reasons + Don't be afraid to come up with your own role if it isn't listed and you can think of other ideas for hospital interaction. + Have fun, and stat! |

[16] VISITING A LOVED ONE
You really hope they're okay, they scared you so much! You don't want to leave, even if they are okay because hospitals aren't nice places, and you don't want them to be all alone right now.
[17] VISITING A FAMILY MEMBER
You haven't been able to stop worrying since they came in here, they better be okay, because you can't live without them! Or maybe you haven't spoken to them in a very long time and news of their hospital stay has forced you out of estrangement?
[18] VISITING A FRIEND
Who doesn't need cheering up when they're not feeling 100%?
[19] VISITING SOMEONE YOU HAVE AN INVESTED INTEREST IN FOR SOME REASON (work colleague, friend of a friend, neighbour, victim of a crime you witnessed, etc. you can know them or they can be a stranger)
You just need to make sure they're okay. You heard all the stories, and what if they really did lose both arms and had an ear surgically removed?! Not tha Hallmark could cater specifically to that...
[20] VISITING ANY OF THE ABOVE BUT GET THE WRONG ROOM
Your friend or loved one can wait a little longer, this person looks like they could use a visitor, or maybe you're bothering them and get told none-so-politely to GTFO, even if you're just trying to be friendly!
[21] VISITING A PATIENT WHO DOESN'T SEEM TO GET MANY VISITORS
Everyone needs company, right?
[22] VISITING A PATIENT WHO DOESN'T SEEM TO GET MANY VISITORS
You're waiting in a waiting room for news of a friend or loved one, who do you meet there? Or has the doctor finally come to give you the good/bad news? Why do they always take so damn long, and hell, the vending machine coffee is awful.

You make people better, prescribe medication, and save lives, to put it in black and white.
[24] SURGEON (you can pick a specialty/area of practice if you prefer)
You cut people open for a living, whether it's minor or major, or saving someone's life with a trauma surgery.
[25] NURSE
In the emergency room, on a ward, or in the maternity unit, you're here to assist doctors or surgeons, or taking care of your patients. A job that is very much not everyone's cup of tea!
