unofficially official; Dating...isn't what you'd consider the two of you doing. You're just close. Close enough to spend time together, do things you both enjoy, eat together, talk about problems, cuddle, and kiss, possibly. And you don't do most of these things with other people. Okay. Okay, so maybe you are dating. But do you need to disclose this fact to everyone else, or at least acknowledge it amongst yourselves - If you even realize it, that is. It's possible this whole "a couple" status has snuck up on you. Theoretically, at least. ...how did that happen? Easy peasy: comment with those prefs and info, cuties. Reply to others. THREAD. ♥

He came in through her window. He suspected Charles knew when he was there, but if he did, nothing was ever said.

The rest of the school didn't need to know when he came to see her.

He hadn't seen her in a while.

He sat on the chair in the corner of the room and waited for her to return from class.

Storm was certain that Charles knew, but he was fond enough of the both of them to leave it be since it never brought any harm to the students or the school.

She could tell immediately that someone was in her room, and for a moment her eyes clouded over white as she prepared to defend herself before she saw who it was.

"Erik!"

She continued to be more beautiful in person than his memory ever did her justice.

"I hope I'm not...intruding." Since he's technically actually intruding. "I wanted to see you." After their last text conversation. He's not sure how well he came out of that.

It wasn't his most shining moment of glory perhaps, but Ororo didn't appear to be holding any grudges as she went over to take a seat on his lap and give him a kiss.

"Hi.You are absolutely intruding, but I don't mind."

She couldn't resist teasing him just a little bit.

There was a time when Scott Summers was interested in Jean Grey. Ultimately, their life paths went in a different direction, and their dating potential fizzled after one date. So when the X-Men rescued a certain gruff loner named Logan from Sabretooth, there was nothing getting in the way of Logan's flirtation with Jean.

That was fine with Scott. Other than a concern for her safety, he had no particular objections. He was growing closer to Ororo, anyway. There was something about her quitet nature that drew him in. They even managed more than a single date, but it wasn't something they disclosed to anyone else, particularly when they were surrounded by students.

Presently, they walked along the garden path by the pond outside the mansion. Scott wanted to hold her hand, but there were students around, so he kept things low-key. But he did smile more than usual.

[ If there was anything to stop Clear from thinking he and Mettaton might have been A Thing, it was probably the fact that the television star was what he was: a star. The star. By comparison, it could fairly be argued that Clear was just a bit of human-made junk. He didn’t even have a SOUL…probably.

But he wasn’t envious of the other, oh no, perish the thought! Mettaton was an inspiration, absolutely worth every bit of admiration he got from monsters and humans everywhere, and Clear was right there among all the fans.

The fact that he got spoiled with front-row seats whenever he managed to make it to a show, and often got to hang out with the star himself when the shows were done and the crowds long dispersed, never registered as anything more than a friendship privilege. The lights are out, the curtains downed, and Clear’s just another guy on the sidewalk humming one of Mettaton’s latest tunes to himself.

That people know Clear doesn’t have to be chased off from loitering at the backstage door, as he is now, isn’t anything that special, right? He’s sure the rest of Mettaton’s friends get the same treatment, too. ]

[Yes, he gave his friends about the same treatment as he did with Clear but... Clear was different. The man had shared to him the truth of his identity - a robot that looked human. No one was the wiser unless he said something. In all honesty, Mettaton was jealous at first when he found out. He loved humans. This robot body was the closest he could achieve in becoming a human. Although his initial interest was simply just with how gorgeous the young man was, the fact that he was a robot like him made him all the more interested in a genuine friendship. He had no one else like him in the world, well, none he had met yet. So he was all too happy to spoil Clear with front row seats, backstage passes, and hangout time outside of his shows.

Was what they did together considered... dates? The monster was still very unfamiliar with how relationships worked but one thing was certain, he very much enjoyed Clear's presence. The sound of his voice, how soft his hair was, his little nuances... Mettaton always looked forward to seeing him and tonight was no exception. Perhaps they could talk about what they were. Clear was difficult to read at times while Mettaton wore his heart on his sleeve. (Or SOUL in his mid-drift, rather.) He was fan, that was obvious enough... but did he consider them friends? ... Something more?

The glambot shoved the questions into the back of his mind as Clear was shown backstage and told to wait outside the performer's door. After a moment or two of readying himself, Mettaton opened the door and flung his arms up, pulling his fellow robot friend into an embrace and feathered his cheeks with kisses.]

Clear, darling~ ♥ I'm so glad to see you!

[He pulls Clear into the room and kicks the door closed.]

How have you been? Good, I hope. Did you enjoy the show?

[ As always, the flurry of kisses was met with blushing cheeks and a splutter of laughter, but the smile it put on Clear’s face was all pleasure and little embarrassment. It was a ratio that had started far to the latter but shifted well into the former with each recurrence of being greeted in such a fashion. Such casual affections hadn't been something Clear had been ‘raised’ to be familiar with, but he had learned quickly.

It was just how Mettaton was, he had ultimately decided. Clear had decided he liked it, too. For his own part, he wasn’t the kind of person to greet his friends with such kisses, but it made him feel genuinely welcome and liked when he was on the receiving end. He didn’t fluster or protest anymore, but blossomed under the free sharing of physical contact. He did return the hug portion of it, and managed not to stumble as he was tugged inwards. ]

You were amazing as always, Mettaton! Watching you perform so confidently…I’m still not tired of seeing it!

[ Clear smoothed down his scarf a little, ruffled as it was from the enthusiastic greeting, but he never looked away from smiling up at the other. Funny, how he’d been built to be so indistinguishable from humans and blend seamlessly among them…but it was a monster that he kept wanting to spend his time with.

Then again, being neither human nor monster, himself, maybe he was just happy to be anywhere that he was as welcome as this. ]

Thank you very much for the excellent seat, as always. I’ve been well, but I’m always even better when I get to see you and the others on stage.

[ Never let it be said that he didn’t give Napstablook and Shyren their own due credit as well, despite it only being Mettaton that fascinated him so. ]

[It was just how he was. Sure, he had his obvious flaws but no one was perfect. Mostly.

Confident, full of life, and more than willing to spoil those he cared about. To make his fans and friends feel as welcomed and comfortable around him as possible, despite his flashy personality and fame. Of course, remembering to include Blooky and Shyren in his compliments always earned extra brownie points.

After the barrage of affections, Mettaton lets go and walks over to the couch he had installed in the room, then sits down and pats the spot next to him, hoping Clear will join him.]

You're such a good friend to me... Excellent seating is the least I can do. I wish I could do more, honestly.
