[ Well, if anyone knows various loop holes and hold ups in rules-- it's Elsa. She doesn't to get him into any sticky situations-- AND DONT YOU DARE MAKE INNUENDO ABOUT THAT. ]
Not today. [ Okay, but seriously. They both very well know the fuss she and her sister managed to kick up and almost destroy an entire kingdom-- so that's like... a half promise.
Okay. okay. enough joking around. She takes a breath before straightening her shoulders and firmly placing her hand on his shoulder for balance (she swears she can feel his heart beat) and lets her eyes slide shut. Maybe she shouldn't have refreshed the color on her lips- the pigment tastes a bit bitter as she presses her mouth together in an unconscious show of nerves.
[ You would think he'd be ready for this sort of thing. With what horrors he's seen - and done, at that - something like a kiss shouldn't make him hesitate. It has nothing to do with her status, he couldn't give less of a shit about her royal position, but...
It's rare, so rare, to meet someone who knows who he was and yet still accepts who he is. It's a little scary, perhaps, to know that someone thinks so fondly of him. Scarier still, to reciprocate those feelings. Because as a monster, he had only himself to care for, and he was good at that. But to have someone else occupy his thoughts, his concerns... who wouldn't be nervous? How many millennia have to pass to shake off those jitters?
Not enough, it seems, but as she braces herself against him he considers that there's really very little to worry about in this moment at this time. She's here because she wants to be, as is he - this is practically a foregone conclusion. No need to dance around it.
So he doesn't.
He slips one hand to press flat against her lower back, drawing her forward and flush against him as he presses his lips to hers with no intent to be sweet or gentle. That's not, after all, who she came up here for. She wasn't here for Prince Charming (the lecherous prick). She was here for him, and for whatever that entailed.
[ Elsa certainly isn't afraid. There's a small hiccup of a gasp as she's pulled flush to his chest-- which is immediately cut off by his mouth. Demanding, with out formalities-- and yup, cigarettes. Definitely Bigby.
She's already up on her tip toes, fingers digging into his shoulder, and trying to find a way to counter his mass. A futile effort, but one none-the-less. Either way, they both knew she was far from helpless- so shes sure he's not worried about that, shes just a touch frustrated.
Granted, the fact that she's being kissed helps quell those emotions. Something entirely new bubbling right under the surface. They'd known each other for such a long time, he'd always been protective of her, especially in this new life. Being away from -- well... her "role" had helped ease her into being more free than she could ever imagine.
Her sister had taken advantage of that, of course. After all, she had Kristoff, Elsa should be able to find someone just as amazing in no time.
The long list of "suitors" were mostly duds. And she's sure her frustration was only matched by Bigby's. Though she could never really pin point why.
Well- not until their last meeting of course.
With that memory in mind, she weaves slim fingers into his hair and tugs him closer.
He'd been her companion on that dark snowy mountaintop so many years ago-- they had a lot of time to catch up on. ]
