"Friend or foe?" Kara calls out as she hears the door open. Mostly in order to try and coax Lucy into a playful mood, since in addition to being in Lucy's apartment, they both know she can see through walls.

She's comfortably entrenched in Lucy's bed already, wrapped in several layers of blankets with a relaxed but goofy smile. She's got a few more blankets (she may have had to bring some from home) laid out for Lucy to make her own cocoon if she wants.

"Oh, definitely foe," Lucy replies, working her way through the apartment. "All of your enemies teamed up and between us we got hold of keys to all of Team Supergirl's apartments."

When she enters the bedroom it's with a tired smile on her face, which turns into a laugh when she sees - well, not Kara. When she sees the blankets that presumably contain Kara. "Although it looks like the blanket aliens from planet comfort have already beaten me here."

Kara giggles. It's quiet enough that Lucy might not be able to hear through the blanket, but she ought to be able to see the covers shake at least.

And a second later she'll be able to see Kara poking her head out and blowing her hair away from her face. "That's right. We have colonized this land, and you will not remove us." She sets her jaw with mock seriousness.

"But, we're not opposed to cohabitation."

She's Major Lucy Lane, co-director of the DEO, and even she can't keep a straight face when Kara's face pops out.

"Is that so?" She's all-out grinning now as she walks over to the bed. "Well, my organization is all about stopping dangerous aliens, but you look kind of... squishy." She perches on the edge of the mattress, prodding the mass of blankets surrounding Kara for emphasis. "So I guess I could live alongside you."

"Good. So now that that's settled..." Kara wiggles her way closer to Lucy. The ultimate goal is to put her head in Lucy's lap, but that might be quite a process. "Tell me about your day."

[littlelane]

"Ugh, it was exhausting." Lucy shuffles further onto the bed to help, mostly ending up half-sprawled under Kara. "I wasn't even out in the field, I was just filling out paperwork and making phone calls. Doing nothing uses up way too much energy."

"Well, it's the same way with reporting. If you do enough good work, they reward you by making you stop." Tangled as they are, she decides to just close her eyes briefly and rest her head on Lucy's shoulder. Or back. Whatever she's flopped on right now. "How about you stay here for a little and recharge?"

"Ugh, please," Lucy groans. She prods at the blankets some more, around the general area of what she thinks is the back of Kara's head. "You got room in there for one more?"

Kara wiggles her arms, trying to stretch the blanket out, and nods to the spares she laid out. "I'm sure you can find someplace."

[littlelane]

Lucy immediately stretches across the bed to grab the blankets, then looks down at herself. "Okay, hold on." She shuffles out from under Kara to hop off of the bed so that she can kick her boots off, followed by her jacket that she just drops on the floor. Then she wraps the blankets around herself and flops down onto the bed next to Kara. "Okay. Perfect. Let the lazy afternoon begin."

"Fiiiine." Kara snuggles up to Lucy, but she does it with an melodramatic sigh. "You could have stripped for me a little more. But I guess I'll live."
