You were just having a normal day out when an angelical snow shower hits you... hard. And now you're trapped with someone else until it passes by. Are you at a cafe? A bookstore? School? In the middle of crime-fighting? Location, duration and snow intensity are all up to you!

[ and it doesn't seem like she's letting go of that fight they had at beacon. must be because she knew she would win? was she that confident? he internally scoffs at the idea. there's a reason why the secrets of the maidens aren't made aware to her, and that's because she has 1) no business in it, and, and this is just his own reasoning, but 2) she probably can't handle it.

[ she hasn't even seen him with his scythe just yet! he's already obnoxious, but he takes pride in being one of the best scythe-wielders in all of remnant. he made his own weapon and is damn good at working all its functions, especially when it's turned as a scythe. it's big, and has a long range, and is ultimately something he uses for the tougher fights.

he had almost used it on her once. almost. so she's right up there, and is pretty good in combat, but honestly? he doesn't think she'd be able to win against her once he uses the style of combat he's more accustomed to. ]

[There's a definite note of annoyance in her tone now. She's proud of how far she's come. And she can't do her job efficiently if she lets others goad her into being reckless but it's like he knows what buttons to push. Frankly, she believes that if he wants to underestimate her that would be to his own detriment. He's not the first person. And she's got no small amount of her own pride in her own abilities. She was ecstatic the day she realized that she had inherited the ability to summon. It was something innate. It was hers in the truest sense that something could be hers and no one was going to take it away. She supposes everyone feels that way about their own semblance to some degree. But hers has a history.]

And I'll hold my own against anything you've got.

[ that gets on qrow's playful side again, and he laughs, both his hands on his stomach as he tries not to laugh too hard. ]

Okay, okay-- then when then storm's gone.

[ he wheezes rather loudly. ]

[Winter grins. But anyone who knows her knows it's the grin when she has resolved to utterly annihilate someone on the training field.There's a gleam in those ice blue eyes that doesn't come from the fire reflecting off of them.]

Very well. I suppose I'll allow you to come up with an interesting cover story for why you have even more holes in your clothing than ever before. It was already in a pretty deplorable state, I'm sure it can't get much worse.

[Her grin widens a bit.] Though I don't plan to lose.

[ that's the only piece of clothing he knows that has holes on it, anyway. does his shirt have holes too? shit. he doesn't want to find out. ]

Why don't we make things more interesting? Loser has to do whatever the winner asks them to. [ he winks at her again, intending to get her more excited for this battle of theirs. knowing winter, she'd probably go all-out from the very beginning if she accepted the challenge. ]

[She's not going to say she feels no trepidation at all. Who knows what Qrow's twisted mind could come up with.

But she didn't get this far by backing down. ]

[She actually has no idea what she'd ask him to do. But she'll have time to think on it.]

Try not to regret too much, [ he says, mimicing her tone and timbre of voice. he even tries to put his hair in a bun for maximum making fun of. ]

[She's trying not to rise to this and her face is like stone, but there's a slow boil starting in her veins. He's like a cawing bird that just won't go away.]

Class? Dignity? The ability to walk in a straight line?

[He could barely even see her the last time they'd met.]

and if she ends up being the actual winter maiden, well... that'd just be hilarious and awful at the same time. ]
