THE YEAR IS 2XXX, and virtual reality technology has advanced to the point where it is basically indistinguishable from actual reality. Once you put on a headset, your consciousness is taken to another world that feels so real, you'd swear that you're actually there. It's a revolution on every front of human society, so of course the first thing someone does is create a virtual world meant for nothing but allowing people to get their freak on from across the globe. It's a worldwide hit, and even if no one admits to using it, everyone does. There's no messy cleanup, no risk of disease or pregnancy, it's totally anonymous, and if you're not having a good time, you can always leave with just a thought.

So, go ahead. Put on your headset, create your perfect virtual self, and get out there and find someone who's just as kinky as you. Whether you're looking for a quick wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am or you want to craft that perfect scenario for someone to step in and be your dream, it's all waiting there in the Cyber Zone.

SETTING INFORMATION

Upon first logging in, all characters must create their virtual avatar. The default avatar is a representation of their real self, but it may be fully customized. Every aspect of their bodies can be edited, and realism takes a backseat to fulfilling fantasies. Look like someone else, look like something else, do whatever you like, the customization features are endless. If a new situation calls for it, a user can alter their body on the fly to accommodate they or their partner's wants by calling up a virtual menu and adjusting options and sliders until they're perfect. In-character kink lists are optionally provided to be filled out, and they can be compared at a glance with anyone that looks appealing.

After getting the right look, it's time to find the right place to play. Those that want to get right to the good part can simply join the Quick Match queue and be set up with someone (or someones) at random in a swanky virtual hotel room with all the trimmings, but other options exist. There are endless amounts of private worlds, places where users have crafted their own perfect fantasies to experience, as well as numerous official public worlds. Medieval worlds filled with intrigue and magic, imitations of decadent Rome, modern day realities both mundane and fantastical, far futuristic universes where you get to be the green-skinned space babe, and many more worlds exist, populated by real people and AI-controlled NPCs both. Characters are free to hang out in social lobbies, join a world and try their luck, join someone they've met before and added to their contact list for another go around the block, look through advertisements seeking someone like them to come scratch an itch, or craft their own little slice of virtual space and put out an ad to find someone who likes the same deviance they do.

Of course, given that this is a world of ones and zeroes, sometimes things can get a little weird. Administrators try to stay on top of things, but they're only human, and sometimes it can take a little while before they can step in and get everything back to normal when things glitch out or hackers get feisty. Bodies have gotten stuck with strange features where the editor stops functioning, and on rare occasions, unscrupulous malcontents have hijacked control of worlds to put users through bizarre situations, and there are always new and exciting ways for everything to go wrong waiting just around the corner. Don't get too upset, it's all covered in the EULA everyone had to sign before logging in, and no one signs anything without reading it, right? Everything will be back to normal soon enough, so all they need to do is bear it for a while... or maybe try to have some unexpected fun.

Description: A hardworking, compassionate, friendly girl, fresh out of college and already making waves in the business world. Her family's reputation as movers and shakers limits her ability to act freely, so sometimes dabbling in a little incognito play in cyberspace is a great way to blow off some steam.
Avatar Description: Will decide this per individual thread, but generally, she'll be looking like herself with some minor facial alterations, maybe different hair colors, and frequently disguises. She likes to be herself, but she also likes people not realizing it's her (unless she starts getting close to them, of course...).
Kinks: Open! I don't do bathroom kinks or weird violent stuff, but otherwise, I'm game for almost anything. Particular favorites include age differences, toys, dirty talk, anal play, breast play, and light bondage.
Scenario Ideas: Pretty open here, too. Quicky hookups are fun, so are things with story. Playing Asami as a knight rescuing a princess would be great, and I like the idea of her Kirking it up with someone playing an alien. I'm also game for playing her as a monster girl, particularly a naga. Tentatively open to things like glitches or hacks, talk to me first.

Character Name: Avanti Kadam
Age: 52
Description: Captain of a space faring attack carrier, carrying a complement of those dangerous weapons known as Gundams. When she was offered money and a safe desk job to look the other way while a space colony was attacked, she went for armed insurrection instead. Calm under pressure, sarcastic, adventurous, but can be a little emotionally distant. She's here to remember what it's like to be young and horny, and to have some casual flings.
Avatar Description: More or less like in real life, but thirty years younger and with a more impressive bust and a cuter butt. Still human, but she's not against trying shit. Want be a mermaid? Or get wings? Or just stick a dick on a girl? She's perfectly willing to make some impromptu changes to her avatar.
Scenario Ideas: I'm pretty open to ideas, but if you want something specific then as a character who lives in space, Kadam would be interested in teaching all you Earthlings about the wonders of zero-gee sex.
Anything Else?: She's from an original Gundamverse, so she wouldn't know or recognize any other gundam characters. She's pretty adventurous in the sack, but isn't interested in toilet stuff, non-con stuff, violent stuff, or heavier bondage.

Character Name: Patchouli Knowledge
Age: Looks like she's in her early 20s, actually much older (canon age being about 100)
Description: A bit of a loner but occasionally interested in company with usually a very few people, Patchouli's a witch who spends most of her time in a library in a friend's mansion. She enjoys learning as much as she possibly can, so she's playing around with VR stuff like this, to explore things that are difficult to find out about in the real world.
Avatar Description: Basically about the same, but with variations allowed for certain threads if you have an idea along those lines. Transformations of various kinds might also be good here -- want her to have tentacles? A penis? Something else you can think of?
Kinks: I'm pretty open. Usual no's apply. This would be a great place to do things that seem particularly implausible in other settings. I'm really interested in group scenarios, so that might be a possibility? Through copies of either character, if needed?
Scenario Ideas: Again, pretty open. Maybe a teacher-student scenario with Patchouli teaching an apprentice about her magic, which turns into something like this? But I'm open to basically anything.
Anything Else?: can't think of anything right now really

(Hi, I was looking for memes to voicetest in and then this one just kinda stuck out on its own merits. Cater's not much of a studious sort but maybe she's trying the VR after hearing it's a less book-read-y way to study magic and stuff? She uses a magic gun in addition to other spellcasting.

As for the smut turns, I'm open to pretty much anything, but transformations, growth, futa and tentacles and all that fun stuff are favorites.)

Cater was not at all happy. It was one thing to be told her performance on the last mission was sub par, but to be assigned to magic tutoring? The last thing she wanted to do was more studying. "Come on! Can't I just go practice in the arena? I don't need all this magic theory stuff as long as I can use it, right?"

Queen frowned, adjusting her glasses as Cater was mostly gently guided into the VR Chair by her fellow Classmates. "Out of the question. As you know, magic and summoning are the edge that Rubrum has to match the forces of the other three nations. And as members of Class Zero we have to be prepared in case they deploy another magic jammer. It's BECAUSE we're the only ones unaffected by it that we need to be ready to support the other Classes."

Ace smiled gently as he helped to attach the equipment to Cater's head and arms. "Besides, it's Mother's orders. She designed this machine too. She said it would allow you to meet with one of her colleagues. Honestly, I'm a little jealous." The machine was similar to the magitek used by Milites, but with a much heavier leaning on magic. It would transport Cater's consciousness to another dimension where she could commune with another magic user from another world. Her eyes had glazed over pretty early in that explanation.

But she relented, closing her eyes and let the machine do her work. When she opened them again she found herself in what looked like a mage's study. "Maaaan, I hope I don't have to read these." She took stock of herself, a little surprised to find herself in her summer uniform. At least she still had her gun with her. She gave it a little pat for comfort before looking around for her tutor.

"Hello?"

Patchouli had been one of the first to step forward to test the new equipment. New developments of all kind were of interest to her, but something like this, especially so. Magic and machinery together? Her major interests meeting was just swell! Her exploration led her to find out that she could do a lot with this new 'virtual reality' thing, so she spent a lot of time with it.

She floated her way over to her new student.

"Are you Cater?" Patchouli asked. "If so, I'm your new tutor."

"Uh, yeah. That's me..." Though Cater was shocked by the way this woman was floating she collected herself rather quickly. She made no attempt to hide the critical way she looked Patchouli up and down, frowning a bit as she finished. She looked nothing like Mother, but there was something about her presence that felt similar. Cater wasn't sure if she was more comforted or offended.

"Look, I know they probably told you I need to work on my magic, but I do just fine in the field. My gun hits just as hard as any spells we have access to, and it's magic-based too." She gave her gun a little twirl for show. It wasn't PRECISELY her gun thanks to this place, but it was close enough. "But Mother said I should do this I guess, so here I am."

The report that Patchouli would have received on her would have described that the only spells she tends to use were a curative one, and her casting time was not fabulous, and a localized area of effect ice spell that she only used if she was surrounded. Tactically sound, but she was leaning too much on the spellcasting of her squad mates.

"Well, most of us could stand a little improvement, generally," she said. "Sometimes our hands are a little slow. Even if not, a little variety never hurt either, right?"

Well, she expected Cater knew that report was going to be sent out to the tutor, right? So hopefully it wouldn't be taken too badly.

"You're not exactly the bookish sort, though, I'd guess. But that's okay. I can probably still help you. A lot of those kinds of things just come down to a lot of practice."

Cater didn't seem thrilled with the implication that she wasn't doing as good as she could, but at least she didn't argue about it. It helped that she knew that was the reason she was here rather than it coming from nowhere. Teenagers, to say nothing of those with enhanced powers were always trouble when facing their faults, especially when they've been groomed by a powerful sorceress to further her own means.

"Yeah, I guess that's true," she muttered, scratching her head with her free hand. "Okay, so let's get to it and we'll see if we can show them I know what I'm doing." Practice was good. Live drills were more fun that sitting with books and tests.

"So what's first? Target practice? Blowing away an Iron Giant?"

Patchouli paused for a second. Where should they begin? There were many things Patchouli could teach Cater (and perhaps should). However, she made her decision rather quickly.

"Perhaps we should do something to work on your reflexes. It's always important to act quickly." Which she supposed she was not amply demonstrating. She didn't usually act fast, anyway, but could react quickly. Which was what she'd hoped to help Cater with in particular anyway.

The suggestion actually took Cater by surprise. Reaction and speed were actually two of the things that the cadet did have going for her. On the other hand, dodging while her gun charged worked in her favor. She couldn't do the same while casting spells.

"Maybe. Can you teach me how to ready a spell while I'm moving? It's so annoying that I have to stop and focus to do it." It was the reason she didn't like using magic. It was time she couldn't spend on the offensive and the payout didn't seem worth it.

(ooc: Sorry for the delay. I was on vacation for the holidays and didn't get any rp time.)

It was close enough, and it seemed to work -- Cater was willing to admit a weakness and to ask for help in a related area.

"Perfection in that department takes some time, but I can teach you the basics for certain. It takes some practice, and sometimes keeping a clear enough head, especially early on, is not easy at all.

"That doesn't mean you should give up hope just yet! I can at least give you a bit of a starting point, so long as you practice. Which, I don't see why I can't help you with that, too."

[ooc: It's not a problem. As you can see, I've been worse, being completely inconsistent over the past... while.]

"Who says I'm giving up? It just doesn't seem that's how the spells that our commanders give us work. Keeping clear isn't a problem though. I usually keep to the back while the others get in to fight up close. And my gun shoots magic bullets so I thought this was all just as good."

Taking a half leap back to open up the space between them, Cater started hopping on the ball of one foot while curling her other leg back around behind her. She grinned eagerly, ready to move and fight.

"Come on. Let me show you what I got. Throw a spell at me. Or a book. Or something. I dunno." She fingered her gun in her hand, debating whether or not to actually return fire. This was just a virtual training space right? No reason either of them could really get hurt or cause any actual damage, right?

(ooc: Well, as long as we both have fun I'm good to keep going :) And I'm still down for tentacles and transformations and stuff when we get there)
