3; 2ish; Is this okay?

[Angela -- or "Mercy" as the others have been calling her ever since finally joining Overwatch -- has been fighting the invitations to join for a while. Overwatch seemed like just another organization grabbing for power, but then considering what she was doing before joining, maybe she was too quick to judge? Sure she was coming up with her own scientific advances along the way, but the funding and endless possibilities with Overwatch made her reconsider. Maybe it wasn't as bad as she was assuming it was?

So there she was, pretty young for how much she'd achieved heading the medical division. Sure she'd seen Reyes around -- who hadn't there? He was a big wig -- but hadn't really spoken to him much. The times she did speak to him, he seemed.... distant.. Or rather, he seemed like he didn't like her; possibly due to how young she was. Still they eventually started to talk more and she'd settled in overtime.

She just... didn't expect to suddenly start seeing his -- and her own -- chest glow whenever she was near him after her birthday. The birthday itself went on without a hitch (she didn't exactly celebrate it, even though a few of the others did do something for it), but what she found strange was that this seemed to be happening a lot since that day.

Only with Reyes did it happen. The others it didn't seem to happen and she didn't know what to take away from it. Being the scientist (of sorts) that she was, she had to figure out the case. She just didn't expect to start falling for him over time of trying to figure out what it could be and why only them. It started to get bad enough that her heart would start beating faster every time he approached her and the glow would just get brighter.

She couldn't possibly be attracted to him, could she? No matter how much she told herself no, those butterflies never seemed to go away. So one day, she approached him (when he wasn't busy) and pulled him along to her lab.]

Something... is going on... And I don't know what's causing it. [The elephant in the room should be proof enough. That glow was bright.] You have to have some ideas as to why, right?

[She had her theories by now, but she wasn't 100% convinced that she was accurate on them yet.]
