SO WHAT YOU'RE SAYING IS EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE.

BAD END MEME

Sometimes you want a fix-it AU. You want everyone to live, to be happy, to find love, so on and so forth. You want the bad guy to lose early, for victory and triumph. Those are great things. Those are happy things. But sometimes terrible things happen to good people and you want to get catharsis through making some characters suffer. We understand. We really do. Sometimes no one wins. Sometimes the villain wins. Sometimes even if the heroes win everything is for naught. Sometimes, things just don't end happily.

While things for us in real life will carry on and we will triumph victorious and golden no matter what is thrown at us, we need to get our aggression and hurt out in the meantime. Let's ruin some fictional characters' lives. Maybe it'll make you feel better.

• Top level your character. Include any details you might think are relevant. Or don't. As always, we're not the cops.
• Reply to other people's top levels!
• Have... fun?

[Surely not all characters. After all, some are acquaintances! Employees! Those who scutter about doing the King's bidding, dressed to impress in snazzy suit and tie and, most importantly of all, reflective shades to hide their feelings.

In this ending, Agent Papyrus is one such employee. As long as he reminds himself to admire Mettaton, since not doing so results in disappearing. Like his good friend Undyne, or a bunch of other monsters who spoke out against the new king. But it's not all bad, is it? He's okay, Sans is okay, and everything is covered in glitter.]

[Oh, Papyrus is absolutely exempt from Mettaton's ire; his royal aggression is saved for intruders and monsters who didn't follow the status quo. It's mostly because of Papyrus that Mettaton doesn't cull Sans from his employee list (well that and Sans does just enough of his job. Ugh.)

Moreover, Papyrus' mannerisms tended to cheer the robot up and make him push even further away the idea that he has no idea what he's doing as a king and it's hurting people.

Besides, he feels as if he can get plenty of attention from Papyrus just as long as he demands it. Better than nothing!!

Which is why he's called his best agent to the throne room, to read off approval ratings to him. That's always a great time, because everyone loves him!!]
