Otherwordly Meme

Sometimes all you need is a word to spark off an idea.

1. Post a comment with your character's name, canon, and any preferences you may have (no shipping, no smut, etc.)

2. Leave the comment blank or post a word or two in the body.

It may also help if you list scenarios you would like to play.

3. Reply to other people, either with words you picked out, or words they posted as prompts for a thread.

"I think so. Why-"

Matt pauses, then laughs as the button hits the floor. "Why?" he asks again, though he's obligated to press his hands to Danny's chest if he's got his shirt open.

He turns his face back to Matt with a soft chuckle, letting his boyfriend get as handsy as he wants. He curls his fingers around Matt's own tie, letting the silk slide through his fingers.

"So I can restock up on pie."

"Well, don't let me stop you."

He smiles, pressing a light kiss to Danny's lips. "You should see if they have apple this time."

[dannyrand]

He nips playfully, sneaking an arm around Matt' waist. "What? So you can eat all my apple pie?" But there's a grin pressed against his mouth.

"Okay, only because it's better with icecream." They're lucky they're active.

"I like to think of it as our apple pie."

Matt nuzzles his way across Danny's cheek, up into his hair. "I'll make it up to you by kid wrangling tomorrow."

"You sure? I know they're a lot of activity and noise." He'd invite Matt to the dojo more, but except during meditation, it's far from a calm environment. But children are like that.

"I think I can handle it." He kisses Danny's cheek and pats his hip, so he can go change out of his business attire and go get apple pie. Hell, maybe Matt will even go with him.

Okay so this is actually a pretty great deal in all. He lost the race but he still gets extra pie, Matt still comes to work with him tomorrow.

He ducks into the bedroom to finish stripping down, pulling on a pair of track-pants and a worn-thin tee instead. He's probably going to try to go barefoot, but the small market store is right on the corner.

"Do we have milk?" Like he can't just check.

"How am I supposed to know?"

Matt reaches into the fridge, to the spot where there milk goes. He wiggles it around a bit. "We can probably get some more."

"You're the cereal guy." Since it's a pretty quick and easy breakfast, Danny's more protein bars and oatmeal, except on Sunday when either he insists on making pancakes or dragging Matt out for brunch at the local diner.

... when the hell did they get so domestic?

"Okay, I'll be right back." Is he going out the damn window? yup.

"You drink milk, too."

But there goes Danny, and Matt just snorts. Typical. He picks up the discard remains of Danny's business suit to properly fold them, otherwise they'll get wrinkled on the floor.
