Warning: Be aware that this meme deals with dark subjects like slavery and may also contain non-consensual/dubiously consensual sex, violence, and kink.
SLAVES
1. The Newbie - This is your very first auction and you don't quite know what to expect. Hopefully you remember your training and don't disgrace yourself in front of your new master. Hopefully someone thinks you're worth buying at all.
2. The Oldtimer - You've been bought and sold and bought again so many times. You've seen it all before and don't think this time is going to be much different. In fact, the only real anxiety you've got is whether or not someone's going to pay for a more than slightly used slave.
3. The Pet - You're a pleasure slave. A bed warmer. A decorative piece of artwork. You're meant to look pretty and be pleasing and not much else.
4. The Guard - Your master hired you because of your ability to swing a sword or shoot a gun, not your looks.
5. The Escape Artist - Somehow you always manage to squirm out of your master's chains. Too bad you seem to get caught after a while. Maybe your next daring escape will be permanent. Then again, maybe your next master has special ways of keeping you locked up.
6. The Undercover - You aren't a slave at all, you're just pretending to be one. Why? Well that's up to you. Either way, your cover is blown if you don't act the part.
7. The Specialist - You have a skill that no one else has. Something rare and valuable. Something your master needs more than anything else.
MASTERS
1. The Customer - You've owned slaves before and this trip to the market is nothing new to you. Still, you're hoping to find something worth your while.
2. The Gift - Someone bought a pet for you, isn't that nice of them? Or maybe it isn't so nice. Did you even want a slave in the first place? Well you're stuck with one now.
3. The Giver - You're selecting a slave for someone else, and they need to be perfect. Perhaps you'd better test them out first to make sure you're getting your money's worth.
4. The Trainer - You specialize in taming unruly slaves and making them over into perfect, obedient, well-trained pets.
5. The Rebel - You hate the idea of slavery, but the system isn't going to go away any time soon, so the next best thing is to buy up any slave you can get your hands on and free them, right?
6. The Companion - You want someone to be with you always, someone you can talk to and depend on, someone who will never leave your side. It's a good thing that money can buy that these days.
7. The Undercover - You're not actually a Master. You're at the auction for an entirely different reason. Maybe it's special policework, maybe you're trying to hunt down a certain someone. Either way, your cover is blown unless you act the part.
As always, feel free to use a combination of scenarios or make up your own if you have other ideas.

Tony Stark | Iron Man: Armored Adventures | OTA
beep beep here comes the garbage truck
Not only was he troublesome, his auctioneer had a special reason to sell. He'd been of little value to his stepfather for too long, and far too much trouble. The best thing to do was to pawn the slave off onto someone else.
For once, Gene hoped he'd be bought. Not least because he could have a chance to slip away later, but because he'd stolen something, and wanted to get away before his stepfather noticed.
Escaped or sold, Gene would not leave without the last piece he had of his mother - her ring. Never.
Re: beep beep here comes the garbage truck
One of the sellers has a guy... Tony can tell the proud tilt of a chin when he sees one. The guy is not cowed, despite being in the slave markets. That's at least interesting. And his dad has been after him to get a body slave since his eighteenth birthday. Well, no reason not to get one that will at least be interesting.
Before he really thinks about it, he raises his hand and bids on the guy. It's a short bidding war between him and Whitney, but she loses in the end. Probably because he flashed a smile at her and she forgot to bid.
But now he has a slave. His very first that doesn't belong to the Starks, but to him. He gathers up his slave, and begins heading back through the crowded streets. "What's your name?"
no subject
But even now, Gene is proud and preoccupied, so when the question comes from Stark, he says, "You could always look at your bill of sale." What did it matter if he played the part of the obedient slave? He'd either be escaped or back on the block within the week, Stark or no Stark.
no subject
"I don't read Chinese." Tony says, easily. He might be a Stark, but they don't know everything. Just most things. He and his father are considered two of the smartest men in the world. That's not an exaggeration.
"Besides, I'd rather talk to you." Tony admits, a bit recklessly. He's also known for his charm. For both sexes. He flashes a smile at his new body slave. "Don't you think we should at least know each other's names?"
no subject
Is it clear that he doesn't particularly want to talk, even if Stark is trying to turn on the charm? He's still the one who bought a human being, and thus he's no better than Zhang in Gene's eyes. He'd spent most of his life in captivity. That didn't mean that he had been broken to the bit just yet.
no subject
... Well, actually, yes. Being Iron Man is good enough to do that. Crap, he's going to have to tell Gene about the whole Iron Man Schtick, isn't he? That's one step closer to his Dad knowing, and that's Not A Good Idea.
So, what's he supposed to be talking about next?
"Well, hopefully, you won't find the work too arduous." Tony says, brightly. "It'll mainly be light housekeeping, and occasionally accompanying me out." He shrugs. "Other than that, you can hang out in the house." And do what you want. But he doesn't say that, because Tony's not an idiot. Well, not wholly an idiot.
"Is there anything you like to do?"
no subject
But the concept of 'hanging out' and asking him what he liked to do? Utterly baffling. "...I don't understand the question," he says.
no subject
Oh well. Cross that bridge in a minute.
"Because we have a huge library you are more than welcome to use." Tony continues, scuffing his feet against the ground. "And you can help me in the lab, if you want." He rubs the back of his neck. Crap, what's he supposed to do with this guy now that he has him?
no subject
"What would I help you with in the lab? I don't have that sort of skillset," he admits, somewhat grudgingly.
no subject
"But company in the lab would be nice too." He gets lonely. To have someone else there would be nice. At least at first.
"And if you can read, you're welcome to read while I work." Tony says. He's not your typical master.
Enjoy this tag from the SKY TUBE
Surely he can't be serious. He's used to harder work and worse labor and unsavory business. Not...minding some pampered rich boy.
This is madness.
Pre work tag!
"Come on. We'll grab a cab home." He flags down a cab and gets in motioning Gene after him.
no subject
It's clear Stark's a newbie at this. He gets into the cab first, leaving Gene in a prime position to make a break for it. And Gene almost does. But it's too public, and too hasty. When he leaves, he's going to lie in wait for the perfect moment. Not dash away on impulse.
So he gets into the cab.
no subject
He gives the address to Stark Industries to the cabbie, and settles back against the seat. "We're going to have to get you proper clothes, of course. Dad will insist anyway. Then, we'll have to get you some education for working with us." He shrugs like it's no big thing. For him, it isn't.
no subject
There's got to be a catch, aside from his continued enslavement.
"You're really serious, aren't you."
no subject
"Of course." Tony says, sitting back again as the cab pulls through the midafternoon traffic. "You'll have a chance to earn your freedom, of course, but Dad can explain that." Because Tony isn't good at it, and made one girl cry.
no subject
no subject
"You're here, Mr. Stark." The cabbie says.
Tony slips out of the cab, and offers Gene a hand. "Come on. Proper clothes and then we'll get food."
no subject
Today was just one surprise after another, it seemed.
"They keep working for you." His tone was flat. "They don't take the opportunity to leave?" Because Gene would see it as an opportunity.
no subject
"Get what you want." Tony says. "It'll just go on my account."
no subject
"There's not some kind of...protocol...you want me to stick to? No uniform?" Some people wanted that kind of thing, especially rich important people. It easily showed who was master and who was slave.
no subject
"There are bracelets you have to wear, but there are several styles, if you want to change it up." Tony is still texting Jarvis.
"Dad will be waiting for us." Uh oh. Howard isn't pleased that Tony impulse bought a person.
yeah that's not a normal impulse buy tony
"Right. The bracelets." Crap.
Look, he has a Plan, okay? A Plan.
If his Dad found the lab, and the suits, well, there's going to be trouble there. Lots of trouble. Being Iron Man is still new to Tony, but he's got to keep it secret from his Dad. At least for a little while yet.
"Don't worry, they're in good taste." He's more distracted by the news on his phone.
