LOVE CONFESSIONS
You can't be around this person without your stomach tying up in knots or your heart skipping a beat. You know, all those cliches people use to describe that feeling of being in love with someone close to you.
You've finally decided it's time to share those feelings of yours and get them out in the open, even if it doesn't end well for you!
1. extravagant confession. You've set up a wonderful night, planned everything down to the T to make sure it's perfect for your confession!
2. note/text. You couldn't do it face to face, so you send a note or a text instead.
3. doomed. You know the other person doesn't love you or just can't be with you, but you need them to know how you feel anyway.
4. childish. You're not actually in love. You just have a childish crush on someone's close to you.
5. bittersweet. Things have all gone to hell anyway, so you might as well let everything out in the open, right?
6. in the heat of the moment. You guys are having an argument and you didn't mean to blurt out how you feel about them, but... oops.
7. serious. You're dead serious about this person, no doubt in your mind, and it's time to tell them.
8. a lie. You don't really love this person, but you're forced to play along either for their sake or because someone is forcing you to.
9. drunk confession. You're not in your right mind, either from drugs or alcohol, and you just let it all hang out about how you feel about this person.
10. lust confession. You don't love them exactly, you just want their body.
11. still in love. You were together once before and broke up for some reason, but you still love this person and they have to know it.
12. other. miss something? Play it out anyway!

Fine, sure... Go ahead...
[A pause and a sight.]
Lead the way.
no subject
I meant like, not as busy! Of course you're busy, you've got a big important job and stuff.
[But he nods, a small grin appearing when she actually agreed to come. So he waves for her to follow and starts out of the building, but pauses not far away to make sure she's keeping up.]
no subject
Don't worry about her keeping up, Leo... She could run laps around you if she wanted to. Keep at it.]
no subject
But he leads her through the camp, taking her to where they had parked The Argo II. At the moment, it was completely dark, but he had a plan in motion. He just hoped she liked it.]

Reyna's just thankful that everyone's at meal. She'd hate to have to explain why she was allowing the Graecus to lead her to that ship. She crossed her arms and waited, eyebrows still raised.]
no subject
Well? C'mon, let's head up!
[And off he went, climbing up the ladder! He just hoped she'd actually follow.]
no subject
[Except, she knew he wasn't. There was a lot he would joke about, but even this wouldn't go that far. She made a frustrated sound at the back of her throat before following him up the ladder. This had better not be a waste of time, graecus. She was far too important and had far too many things to do to waste time like this.]
no subject
[But she was following, so this was good! This was really good! His grin didn't disappear the whole climb up. It wasn't long before he climbed onto the deck of the ship. Everything was dark. No lights were on, and he kept it like that. It was part of his plan, after all. But he waited at the edge to help her up, and then he'd put his plan into action...]
no subject
[She'd only done that once before, and he was a special case. She hadn't had much of a choice thanks to Juno. She joined him on the deck shortly after he got up there.... Her eyes narrowed.]
What are you up to?
no subject
And he wasn't about to let her know. He just grinned away, pulling a remote out of the toolbelt around his waist. He gave her one last glance, then pushed a button...and the deck burst into light. Purple and white lights were strung all over the place along, with some ribbons added here and there for flair. The deck was cleared of anything not necessary, with a single table right in the middle. It was covered with a white table cloth, an unlit candle in the middle. However, there was only one chair.]
Know, uh-- just how much you work. So I thought.... dinner, compliments of Chef Leo [yes he did just say his name with a French-ish accent], might be something you'd like. Oh, and-- on your own. No need to worry about anyone -- you know, anyone [He mostly means himself] -- bothering you.
no subject
Reyna's brow furrowed, however, when he flipped on the lights and she was presented with the table. She took a step back, debating whether she should flee now or not. She glanced from the table to Leo, then back at the table. Several times.]
I'm sorry, what? I mean.... why?
no subject
[He shifts, clearing his throat nervously.] But...anyways. Dinner! Oh, and-- [He holds up a finger, and sticks in his hand in toolbelt, pulling out three slips of paper and holding them out to her.]
Here. Three 'Get Away From Leo' passes. Good for any one day. Use it and I'll stay out of your hair for the whole day. Promise.
no subject
When she finally manages to speak again, it's quiet and has lost a little bit of the harshness it usually carries.]
I'm sorry.
[It's not much, but it's there, and she steels herself again. Goes back to the Roman way.]
Most people annoy me, Leo. It's not isolated to just you.... Don't take it personally.
[Because what is acknowledging a confession like that? Don't know how to handle it?! Move on!]
no subject
What he was not expecting what her to apologize and then say his name.
For a moment, his eyes just got huge and his mouth hangs open there. But when he recovered, there's nothing but a grin.]
Personally? As if! Dude, I live to be annoying. That's kinda my thing. Just ask Piper.
no subject
She steels herself when she realizes she shocked him, just... preparing for the inevitable annoyance.
But she hadn't prepared for that name. She didn't plan on asking Piper anything. All he gets in response?]
I'm not a dude.
[And she's off to take a seat at that table. It wouldn't be proper to let a good meal go to waste, would it now?]
no subject
He had no idea and was left pretty dumbfounded.
It took him a second to recover, and he followed her over to the table, replacing that confused face with another grin.]
Okay, just hang here, and I'll be right back with a delicious meal. [He held up one finger to her, then ran off, disappearing below deck. Sometime later, he returned, carrying a plate. He set the plate down in front of her, revealing a rather fancy looking taco, but a taco none the less.]
Dinner is served!
no subject
And then he returned.
With a taco.
Reyna took a deep breath and glanced up at him, an eyebrow raised. She skipped dinner with the Legion for this?]
Thank you.....?
no subject
Anyways, I'll just-- leave you to it, if you want.
no subject
[That was as close to an invitation as he was going to get, really.]
I can't imagine one taco will take a while to eat.
no subject
Well, uh-- I can make you another, if you want. Or something else. Doesn't matter.
