LOVE CONFESSIONS
You can't be around this person without your stomach tying up in knots or your heart skipping a beat. You know, all those cliches people use to describe that feeling of being in love with someone close to you.
You've finally decided it's time to share those feelings of yours and get them out in the open, even if it doesn't end well for you!
1. extravagant confession. You've set up a wonderful night, planned everything down to the T to make sure it's perfect for your confession!
2. note/text. You couldn't do it face to face, so you send a note or a text instead.
3. doomed. You know the other person doesn't love you or just can't be with you, but you need them to know how you feel anyway.
4. childish. You're not actually in love. You just have a childish crush on someone's close to you.
5. bittersweet. Things have all gone to hell anyway, so you might as well let everything out in the open, right?
6. in the heat of the moment. You guys are having an argument and you didn't mean to blurt out how you feel about them, but... oops.
7. serious. You're dead serious about this person, no doubt in your mind, and it's time to tell them.
8. a lie. You don't really love this person, but you're forced to play along either for their sake or because someone is forcing you to.
9. drunk confession. You're not in your right mind, either from drugs or alcohol, and you just let it all hang out about how you feel about this person.
10. lust confession. You don't love them exactly, you just want their body.
11. still in love. You were together once before and broke up for some reason, but you still love this person and they have to know it.
12. other. miss something? Play it out anyway!

When he speaks, his voice is as calm and apathetic as usual.] What do you want from me, Spirit? You're going to have to talk a bit more if you expect to get anywhere.

So with a sigh he resigned himself, almost treating it like a dreaded chore, but his expression was sincere. Then again how could anyone trust the sincerity of a drunk.] Love...love you...

I... understood that much. [Now his words are cautious, as if he's picking his path very carefully. It wouldn't be as entertaining or harmless as usual to reject Spirit entirely.] I don't see the point of it, though. Where are you headed with this? Or was that all?

And now he'll give Stein a pat on the head before making the attempt to let himself out.] So now that you get that's what I was trying to say, I don't really need a place to sleep.

Oh.
He sees where this is going now. It's going waaay out of his comfort zone. He didn't even know he had one of those.]
I'm going to tell myself you've had more time to think this through than I think you have. [He gives the other man his best poker face as he signals down the hall with his thumb.]

What are you saying, of course I've had time to think about it. Plenty of time! Why do you think I'm here? [Alright, to the bedroom they go...yes, they...because he's dragging Stein by his rolling chair along with him.]

I'm saying you're drunk. And although I don't know much about this, I do know that's not exactly the right foot to start on. [But fine, whatever do whatever you're planning. He'll even point and guide you to that room containing his stitched-up bed. Clearly, this is proof there is nothing he won't cut open at least once.]

Oh good, Stein does sleep in a bed, he thought it was going to be something totally bizarre...not that a stitched-up bed wasn't a little weird, but still. Now that Spirit has wheeled Stein all the way to his room he fully intends to dump him on the bed and follow him. Fortunately he has the presence of mind to remove his shoes before standing over his companion.] Ready?
no subject
His mouth twists into a vague frown, but he kicks off his own shoes and steps off the chair all the same, kicking it to the other side of the room as an afterthought.] Not as much as I'd like to be. But that'll have to do for now.

After leaving what Spirit thought was a more than sufficient love bite, he pulled himself away long enough to remove his own shirt and once he was topless it was Stein's turn. The Death Scythe hoisted his companion into a sitting position just long enough to rid him of his lab coat and shirt before easing him back against the jigsaw that was Stein's bed]

Once he's shirtless he lays one arm lazily behind his head, while the other reaches to mess with his screw again. This time the cranking is slow, as if he's drawing out each little tick. This time it's less about thinking fast, but thinking thoroughly. Observing. And he's definitely scanning his former weapon's chest thoroughly. In truth, he's trying to figure out what's different between now and those times he'd drag Spirit out of bed in the middle of the night. He's seen this chest more times than he can count, but it seems like something foreign now. How interesting.]
