BIG DAMN ADVENTURE MEME So you wanna go on an adventure? Let's help you out. It's time to save the world! Or not. Something's gone horribly wrong and it's your job to fix it! Or, you know, make it worse. We're not the cops. You could fight a dragon, cure a disease, or rule with an iron fist. The world's your oyster. Tag in with your name and series, post your preferences, and play away! We're running out of time, adventurers!

LOCATIONS 1. FANTASY Sorcery, demons, monsters, knights in shining armor, magic rings you need to throw into a volcano... 2. FUTURE Technology is rampant. Maybe you have to overthrow your dystopian government or learn how to feel again. 3. SPACE Will you explore the final frontier or are you in a galaxy far far away? Those synthetics don't look very friendly. 4. MODERN Sometimes the scariest things are right outside our front door. 5. SUPERHEROES So you wanna be a superhero? Do you have what it takes to save the day? 6. APOCALYPSE The world's already ended. You're just picking up the pieces. SCENARIOS 1. OVERTHROW An evil empire is calling the shots. A corrupt government is making your friends disappear. Fix it. 2. CONSPIRACY No one believes you but your best friend, but things are going wrong and someone in particular is behind it. 3. MEDICAL A disease is killing off people at a horrifying rate and you're trying to find a cure. 4. ZOMBIES Holy shit, is that person EATING someone? You have to escape the zombies, and FAST. Remember: aim for the head. 5. EXPLORATION There's nothing pressing about to kill everything, but you're exploring new territories. Maybe you'll find a new threat. 6. DOWN TIME A break between missions. Heal, regroup, and take care of yourselves. 7. WE NEED WHAT? You're looking for the item to end everything. The BFG, the one ring, the conduit. Whatever it is, you have to find it first. 8. WE MIGHT DIE TOMORROW It's time for the final battle. Are you ready? Are your friends, troops, loved ones? Make your speech or find someone to spend your last night with. 9. MY ARCH NEMESIS You know who the villain is. So does everyone else. They're the Ganon, the Sauron, it doesn't matter. You have to win. 10. THE WORLD WE'RE SAVING HATES US You're trying to save the world but everyone hates you; you're doing it anyway because you need to, it's the right thing to do even if no one cares if you live or die. 11. WE HATE THE WORLD WE'RE SAVING You hate EVERYONE. You hate the world and wish it would go down in flames but you live here too, or you have to because nothing you do to stop trying works. Whatever. 12. WHY WOULD I SAVE IT? You're the villain in any of the above scenarios and then some! Go wild! As always, these are just suggestions. Make up anything you want, as long as you're having fun!

Scarecrow wrinkles his damaged nose at the sight of a grown man watching cartoons. How childish, he thinks.

He's nothing if not patient, so he waits for Joker to address him. "I am looking for a key ingredient that would make my toxin even more potent," Crane explained. "With it, I could bring the Batman to his knees. I'm guessing you're interested in such a sight."

The Joker has his doubts (Crane always seems so surprised when Batman overcomes his toxin), but the image that the description puts in his head is so entertaining that he can't resist. "Now you're speaking my language!"

The clown hops out of his chair, tapping his chin in mock thought as he walks around the room. "Now, I know there's someone who I could..." The Joker brightens up, as if struck by inspiration. "By the way, I've always wondered - can those toxins of yours make him afraid of things? Batsy developing a sudden and crippling fear of puppies would be a riot!" It's honestly a surprise that the Joker can come up with any kind of plan given how much his mind jumps from one topic to another, but that's part of what makes him hard for people like Batman to predict.

Scarecrow watches Joker carefully, never taking his eyes off the clown. "It doesn't work that way," Crane says in a deadpan tone, not expecting the Joker to listen to him. "You said you had help for me," He says, trying to turn the conversation back to the original topic.

"The plant I want only grows near water and with very little sunlight," Crane explained. "I have had no luck in finding a sample."

"Darn. Still, it could work for a Robin..." Pulling out a notepad, the Joker writes 'DEATH BY PUPPIES' in all capitals.

"Anyhoo, you're just in luck! A little birdie told me that the..." The Joker goes back a few pages in his notes, where he had written the name down. Harley had told him about it, figuring that it must be important if Scarecrow had wanted it, but they had to guess on the spelling, since Ivy only used the technical name for it. "...alusin... alukin... The plant that you're looking for is at Gotham University! Guess they're doing some kind of pollinating experiment to save it, or something. Can't think those'd be as good as the original, so we'd better get a move-on!"

Joker had kept an eye out for rare or dangerous plants, just in case he needed to get an apology gift for Harley or change up his Joker Toxin to make it tougher to find an antidote. Plus, he has a lot of blackmail on various Gothamites, including the head of security at Gotham U.

"You found all this out in just..." Scarecrow shakes his head, brushing it off. "Never mind. Most impressive, my dear Joker." This was the man who had orchestrated a large inmate takeover of Arkham, after all.

"You help me, I will personally let you watch as I make Batman scream in terror, and Gotham sees their savior fall. Then you may do whatever you please with him. Shall we?"

Crane can't help but notice that Joker's goons look at him nervously as they escort him back to the car. He likes it.
