(Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.) instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I don't really remember liking any of the books we read in school much. I just remember them being depressing or boring. Apart from 'The Turn of the Screw' - got to love ghost stories

ghosts and supernatural stuff. all the gore and slasher stuff isn't my thing.

yeah, I never understood why torture porn was ever a thing. Psychological horror is A+ though, especially when it's subtle

Yes - I kind of like it when it's left open ended, too. All up for debate and everything. As much as having closure at the end is great, I kind of feel like it's more realistic to leave it open to interpretation.

A bit of everything to be honest. I'm addicted to Skillet's new album at the moment, but then I've also got more 90's trash on my playlists than I care to admit.

At least shuffle keeps things interesting

Little embarrassing when something totally random comes on when it's playing through speakers, though; nothing kills a mood faster than 'The Little Mermaid' OST

I feel like there's a couple of answers to that. For example; great great grandma's funeral service. It's open casket. You're getting really good at looking sombre and sad even though you didn't know them that well. You go up to them to pay your respects and all that.

Suddenly, it happens. A new song over the church speakers;

I agree completely - it keeps things a little unpredictable.

I'm a fan of routine and all, but unexpected things happening make it more bearable

surprises are fun. usually. sometimes not. but even those break up the monotony. variety is the spice of life and all that.

And hey, even the bad surprises are useful for something; they make you appreciate the good ones.

Have you ever considered writing for Hallmark? I can see that in italic font on an inspirational post card. Maybe with a sunset in the background.
