Sunday Gen Texts

texting meme

You’ve got your TFLN, you’ve got your sexting, now here’s the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old fashioned friendly texting. (Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.)

instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I agree completely - it keeps things a little unpredictable.

I'm a fan of routine and all, but unexpected things happening make it more bearable

surprises are fun. usually. sometimes not. but even those break up the monotony. variety is the spice of life and all that.

And hey, even the bad surprises are useful for something; they make you appreciate the good ones.

that's a good outlook. there can be beauty and value in all kinds of experiences, not just the good ones or the ones you liked.

This is getting kind of deep :')

Have you ever considered writing for Hallmark? I can see that in italic font on an inspirational post card. Maybe with a sunset in the background.

i'm not sure they let guys who look like me write greeting cards.

Well it's not like they put your passport photo on every one.

Although I'm sure you look delightful

idk i think hallmark might have a strict no-goth policy.

You're making me want to google it; at least if the government's watching what I use the internet for, they might know the answer and get back to me

i hope they aren't watching. i'd have to explain a lot of my netflix queue.

I feel no need to explain what I watch on Netflix. That's my 'me time' god damn it.

so what do you like to watch?

Big fan of historical stuff; period dramas, things like that. Documentaries are always good background noise - but, Netflix has some really terrible horror films. That's kind of what I live for. And the good ones, obviously. But the bad ones are usually so awful, they're great.

You?

oh right we covered the horror movies. i like those. and nature documentaries.

and that my little pony show but i promise i'm not one of those dudes that's grossly weird about it.

So we did!

My last experience with MLP was when I was six or seven, so I'm not sure I want to know what you mean by 'grossly weird'. Cartoons can be pretty great though. A frind actually showed me 'Adventure Time' the other week and I'm kind of hooked

man i don't want to traumatize you. grossly weird like only certain douchey dudes can get about stuff, inappropriately, let's say.

i've heard good things about adventure time. i keep meaning to catch it.

Just googled it. sorry I asked x_x

You should! It's so cute and funny.

I should probably mention, I texted the person I actually meant to text in the first place about the fact I now own a giant stuffed dinosaur, and now they're laughing at me, so this has been much better for my self esteem :')

dw - it's character building, and my character can lift.

that's what I said to her, and I got three poop emojis back. what does this mean? will scientists ever know?

poop emojis? sounds like poor taste if you ask me.
