Clarice would, to no one's surprise. On one of her breaks from the Xavier's School booth, she wandered over to the blue girl's booth and read the sign, thinking that was certainly a unique charity. "Hello! I love your shade of blue! What kind of kiss could I get for five bucks?"

[OOC: I'll leave the charity up to you, of course, but I can't help but imagine a beat-up sign with "BARN RECONSTRUCTION" in hastily-scrawled letters and a ridiculous dollar amount. Because supplies for meep-morps and Peridot's inventions wouldn't come cheap.]

"Thanks. Blue is my thing." Lapis replies stiffly - not at all returning the other girl's enthusiasm or kindness, which is probably not very enticing. It's not that she's trying purposely to be standoffish, but she really doesn't like this stupid kissing booth idea. Peridot saw it on the internet, however, and thought it'd be a great way to raise money (because apparently that's a thing you need on Earth) for stuff they wanted to do around the barn, and she had no choice but to get involved. Just another day in the life of being a space rock stuck in a barn with nothing else to do. That, and it's just kinda the way she is.

Lapis takes a moment to respond to her inquiry, teetering over on her heels a bit to peer at the prices scribbled on the sign in front of her booth. After she checks, her gaze averts back to the girl in front of her.

"Five is... uh, on the cheek. For two seconds. If you want something more, it'll cost more."

[ That works fine for me! I didn't have anything specific in mind anyways so I can totally roll with her doing it for barn repairs and supplies. Gotta make that cash money somehow. ]

Clarice was actually surprised to see this level of teenaged disinterest outside of a math class. She wasn't quite expecting to see it in a kissing booth of all places. But at the same time, this blue girl looked like she'd seen some shit.

"Okay, what would I get for twenty-five dollars?" Sure, that was cutting into her soft drink funds, but she was hoping that maybe a decent kiss would pick up the blue girl's spirits.

[ Remilia walked up confidently, curious about the girl with the blue skin enough to approach... As for the kiss, she'll go with whatever Lapis was comfortable with. ]

Good day, miss. Might I trouble you for a kiss?

[ At least she's pleasant... and ready to pay. ]

Hi.

[ She responds apathetically, looking just generally uninterested. How pleasant. ]

Yeah, that's kinda what I'm here for, so it's not really any trouble. What sort of thing are you looking for?

[ She's used to apathy. She's friends with Reimu, after all. ]

Would a kiss on the lips be too bold?

[ Naturally this makes her want to tease a little. ]

That's fine, but you have to pay first.

[ She then gestures to her ridiculous prices located on the front of her booth - because she's not about to sell herself cheap!! Even though that's not really the problem, and she's just a space rock with no idea how human currency works. Nothing like this existed on Homeworld. ]

It's fifty for five seconds.

Of course.

[ Though really, that was rather expensive, for most people anyway. For someone as ridiculously rich as the 500+ year old vampire, it was pocket change. It was... surprising, still, though she does get out her money... ]

Fifty...? Most humans don't carry that much money around.

Cool.

[ Lapis extends her arm over the booth, waiting for Remilia to hand over her money before any actual kissing commences, palm wide open. ]

They don't? I mean, I don't really know how this stuff is supposed to work... my roommate just looked up prices on the internet and saw fifty was supposed to be a lot. And we need a lot.

[ It's as simple as that... she's not about to change it now, both because she's a brat and she still needs that cash. ]

[ She hands over fifty exactly. ]

Perhaps you might get more interest. It wouldn't hurt to smile too.

[ Well, once she's handed the money over, the deceptively young looking woman will give Lapis a gentle kiss... And kisses is definitely something she's good at. ]

[ Lapis is too busy storing the money away to give a cheeky response, and when she looks up, Remilia plants the kiss right on her lips. It's nicer than she'd like to admit - it's gentle, which she appreciates, and she even finds herself leaning over the booth a little to get into it more.

But only for five seconds until she pulls back. It definitely was not more than five seconds, ok. ]

... Ok. Uhm. [ She looks a teeeensy bit embarrassed now, at least showing the slightest emotion beyond apathy. Still no smiles, though. ] Hope you enjoyed. Thanks for your donation.

[ And Remilia is there with a playful, almost triumphant smile at the response she was looking for. ]

[ She knows that smile on Remilia's face and she hates it because she probably thinks this is funny and it's NOT funny. No fun allowed. ]

[ She got her to blush, so Remi thinks she's allowed that. ]
