The purple girl working the next booth over from Mei spent the day getting to know her. Her name was Clarice, and she found Mei to be incredibly cute. So at one point after her shift ended, Mei was still behind her booth. So she walked up to the booth as a customer and plopped down the necessary money. "I'm not just a purveyor of awesome smooches, I'm also a client."

[ Miyuki has a strong sense of duty as captain of his baseball team.

He also tried to escape from his post at this fundraising kissing booth twice in the first half hour, both times duping someone else to take his place. Eventually he was found out and dragged back.

It's not the fundraising part he has a problem with, it's the everything else part. But Rei-san knew what (who) would generate the most revenue and it turns out she was right. Their prettyboy genius catcher and newly minted captain has seen more than enough business today. So much! But since traffic's finally been slowing down and all, he can just pack up early and —

Apparently not. It was probably the early escape attempts that left him without mercy. And so, Miyuki's still sitting behind his booth, head leant on one hand as he looks over a scorebook he'd pulled out once the crowds died down.

Most people don't think much of the bandaid on his neck. He doesn't try to either — it won't be long until he doesn't have to wear anything there anymore. ]

Clarice worked the booth for the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters charity. Mutant rights and all that. Xavier's School and Avengers Academy weren't rival schools, though some of the students from each liked to claim otherwise.

At some point after Clarice's shift, she reapplied some Chapstick and wandered over to Janet, grinning happily. "Thanks again for letting Xavier's open up a booth here. How's it going so far?"
