This charity goes toward scholarships and genetic research for mutant children who would like to make the most of their education, and who experience unfortunate setbacks due to their mutations." Clarice was one of the lucky mutants; some people she knew were handicapped by their own gifts.

"So yeah, that's what you'll be buying with your money. And you're about to get your money's worth." After depositing the money, she stood and leaned toward Kori for a kiss befitting the amount that Kori had paid.

The purple girl in the yellow sundress made the rounds to quite a few tables when she wasn't working the Xavier's School booth. There were so many people to kiss that she was sure her wallet was going to hate her.

Next up was a woman who was built like a kickboxer. Sadly, she looked like she'd rather be someplace else. Clarice wanted to fix that.

On the booth was a sign bearing a massive Varrick Industries logo and smaller type about disaster relief for Republic City. It was a worthwhile cause, to be sure, but it was a secondary concern. "So! How much would you like me to devote to the cause of brightening your day?"

[Well, Kori did not have that much. No matter... this seemed like the perfect opportunity to practice haggling on Earth.]

( crossing his arms and nodding to himself, he's done good! hopefully this means from his good work he'll be grail ascended and the like! but then again, he doesn't mind a hug either! no, in the end, just seeing smiling faces is enough for him. )
